It's a beautiful temple with a beautiful architecture and many huge idols placed across all the corridors.

The premise also has a nandini parlour and a few ice cream stalls where devotees can stop by for refreshments.

There is also an aquarium with various types of fishes and unique birds. The entry ticket costs 5Rs.

Parking is available close to the temple. Pay and use toilets are also available at two places, one close to the parking and another near the aquarium.

Very beautiful n enormous temple very close to Bangalore.. very big statues of God and Goddess. Very peaceful environment.. after the main temple, u have to climb for many small temples in the vicinity.. there is a cave temple on the rocks for which you have to climb carefully and better not to take children as it is very steep and dangerous. But you get to see the entire place from that height which is marvelous and esp during sun setting time..

It’s one of the most beautiful temple and a serine place. It’s a perfect location for the meditation and you would get blessed also.
The stone structures are very well done and you must check those.
Also you should not miss to climb the hill and go to the hill top temple.

Temple is located on hilltop..management is keen on building temples…they have forgot on basic requirements…Rest room / toilets is a nightmare..no good / basic rest room available..no white tapping..floor will get so much heated…legs will get burnt..temple committee needs to work on basic requirements.

Eventhough its a new temple, the style of architecture is similar to old temples. Peaceful and calm inside. There are two ways to go to the temple. Via road by car or bike and via steps.

Was wonderful temple of lord Shiva. We reached around 4.15pm to aid hunchangiri and immediately we started climbing that big rock.
My first experience of climbing that big rock with my husband. Not advisable for ages people.
From stone they have made steps and they are very strong. Once we climb first level then there is small Shiva linga inbetween the stones. No lights and all. In the second level we can see kattale someshwara temple. Only sign boards are there to enter the temple. Full of dark, everywhere plastic bottles but garbagudi was good we can see small Shiva linga there.
Third level is very risky, there are no steps to climb but they drilled big iron rods inside that big rocks. We need to hold it with balance we need to climb. It's very risky and it's not for everyone. There are big bee hives.
Fourth level is we need to climb the rock by holding the chain. Very risky and slippery.
Hands will become wet at that moment.Top view can be seen from that place.
Don't carry valet, bottles or any bag if you are planning to climb the rock. For getting down also same route only. We reached at 6.10pm at down. That is almost 2 hours.
After reaching down we visited temple. It was too good. There were lord ganesha, aishwarya, parvati. Sun set view was awesome from the top. We enjoyed a lot.

Awesome place. You can enjoy the god darshan and nature's scenic beauty on mountain top.Main deity is Sri Kalabairava. Very powerful place. Need little improvement on maintenance, Cleanliness around temple premises, dining/prasad hall and rest rooms. Much crowded on Sundays. Remaining days crowd is normal. Shared auto's are more frequency than KSRTC bus. You can easily reach from Bellur Cross bus stop where you can get bus and auto.

The Kalabhairaveswara temple here very nice and the whole area is very well maintained in all sense! Since it is located on the inclined area, the view of the entire city is visible from top and what a beauty it is. Prasadam is very nicely prepared and served. Visit with family especially with elders...

The abode of Kalabhairava in the Adichunchanagiri Hills. It is located in the Mandya district of Karnataka. Kalabhairava is also known as Lord Shiva in mythology. It is said that he meditated here and there is a shrine dedicated to it.
It is the only temple dedicated to the Lord in South India.
You have the Gangadeshwara and Gavi siddeshwar temple here also.
There is also a huge monolith of Lord Ganesha right adjacent to the temple.
Its quite crowded on Sunday.
The temple is closed from 12pm to 2pm everyday.
You can also buy prasada from the shop located right next to the main temple.
The food hall for serving food to all devotees is also near to the main temple.

The place is located between kunigal and channarayapattana in bangalore hassan highway. Around 15 km from the highway. The road to the temple is smooth as it is newly laid road. The temple idol is kalabaireshwara. You can also trek chunhanagiri hills to see kattale someshwara and also can see gangadareshwara. You will have around 150 to 200 steps to kattale someshwara. Food as prasadam is served in temple from 12pm to 3pm. Temple is closed between 12pm to 2pm and timings way vary during special occasions.
