Dark Forest Retreat Amboli

I stayed there for one night. Location is amazing as it is away from town and the main highway. Rooms are nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. Food was tasty and was delivered promptly to my room. Staff was polite and helpful.

Overall very nice experience.

Only drawback was their open air karaoke system with loudspeaker (located in the garden). Some guests were singing till late night and it was bit disturbing for other guests like me.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. Had a wonderful weekend stay. Would love to revisit in the monsoon. Only negative was that there was no mobile range at all (airtel) and had to rely on a somewhat slow wifi. Otherwise, we had fun :)

One of the best resorts I have visited .The rooms are nice and the service is excellent.Huge vast area in the middle of hills 😍.There are many sightseeing places nearby also. Nice place to relax and enjoy the view of western ghats . There are boards or the ways to get into the resort . Resort contains both vegetarian and nonvegetarian food with separate kitchens . Helpful for pure vegetarians also. Swimming pool , party places and full of lawns .😍

It was great experience to spend time in Dark Forest Retreat resort. It’s like a heaven for us. In rainy season very good environment for nature lovers, Very calm, The room service is very good and cooperative staff, food is also awesome. Special Thanks to Dinesh Sir because of he allow us postpone our booking almost after a year due to unfortunate situation

We were a gtoup of 23 senior citizen friends gathered together for reunion. Foubd the excellent facillities ,food and service

First thing first it is awesome.
What I like:
Room was spacious and comfortable
Ample parking
Good room service
Beautiful surroundings
Food was delicious
Good for family holidays
What I don't like:
Place is peaceful however if there is any function then peace is disturbed.
Use of led lights causes light pollution.

Conclusion:
It is nice place for going away from hustle and bustle of daily life. I and my family had a very good time. Even during hot summer it is cold.
Suggestions:
This place has huge potential for star gazing however due to use of excessive lights specially flashy led lights are causing light pollution.
Secondly use of loud music must be avoided because guest who visits such place want peace of mind and Secondly even the wildlife will enjoy silence.
Lastly I had a great time and I would like to visit it very soon.

Simply amazing, we used to visit 3-4 times in year and family friendly. Their are many activities for kids .service also amazing.

In Monsoon it make you fill like you are in rain forest.Swimming pool is near and clean. Only BSNL network available but resort Wi-Fi is working perfect. Well separated room and cottages which take care of your privacy. Enough parking place. Outdoor and indoor game facility. Totally cinematic resort. Best resort in Amboli, go for it .

Awesome resort. Visited, 2 nd time. Unfortunately due to traffic and road construction work it took 12 hours for us to reach here from Mumbai via pune banglore highway. But the moment we reached here all the travel fatigue flew away.
When you're feeling sluggish, simply check in to dark forest resort and experience nature. Food, service, ambience and vibes are just too good here. Loved the place. Not only in rainy season but you can notice fog at this resort in winter and summer seasons too. Most beautiful resort at Amboli. Jannat. ❤

This is the best resort in Amboli as of now. The rooms are well designed, comfortable and clean. The food is nice. Ask for mutton dishes which were very delicious. Cycling, volley ball, swimming and trekking are the only activities available. Sunrise and sunset views are absolutely amazing from the resort. Overall, would recommend this place for a big family get together or even for a quick overnight stay...Totally worth it 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
