Historic island town. Adi Ranga temple here. Tippu Sultan's capital. His palace, his place of death and tomb is here. Current express way bypasses this town.

Historical place, this temple connected with mysuru wodeyar family. Holy Kaveri river flowing here. That is why plenty of devotees visiting here. And also this is called as aadhi Ranga, in shriranga pattama rangaswamy temple, nimishamba temple, tippu palace and port and so much of familiar places are here. Do visit once its a great place

Adiranga or ranganatha swamy reside here with Lakshmi. Well maintained temple and friendly temple staff. Temple opens mrng 6 to 12 in morning and 4 to 8 in the evening everday days. Saturday and Sunday there will be huge crowd. Best time to visit is weekdays.

This is temple is a most oldest temple Indian under they want to make a clean and green and maintenance want to show more improvements there is no toilets there is no not an old temple this is most oldest temple in the India and one more thing is this is not an simple temple this is a historical temple government take under 2 I think it is already in government under but they are not interested to implement of this temple see what happened in our life is it once it's very nice visit ones go and visit once
