Beautiful temple of ma bhagawati. You have lord shiva, ganesha, muruga, ayyapa, Naresh, hanuman and nav graha as well. There is a kund inside the temple. I found many colorful clothes and a small cradle tied on banyan tree there, but I don't know the reason for the same.

A famous Devi Temple in Alappuzha District. Roof of the temple is open and the Devi gets a feel of changing weather conditions. Visited during monsoon and could see rain water falling from the roof infront of the deity. It is a temple with high energy and vibrations. Also the temple is maintained well for the queues. The travel towards the temple from Kottayam was great with beautiful paddy fields and rivers running across. 'Pongala nivedayam' is a sweet dish that is considered a favorite of the Goddess and women flock in large numbers to the temple to offer the same. Its famous for its diety the Goddess and its known as Ladies Sabarimala.

Great temple. The Goddess in her full power to bless her devotees.

Annadanam organisers need to have an eye on the " Annam" suppliers . They have a bit of an attitude to the devotees.

If Annam is given a smile along with polite attitude is definitely worth it.

Best experience ever. The holy place. We will find the inner peace here. Parking facilities are available. There are so many shops and we can witness everything. The fishes in the pond are just amazing. We can just wash our hands and legs. The nearest bus stop is about 100 metres away from the temple.

This is a little different Hindu Temple of Lordess Bhagavati.
Unlike other temples the daylight is falling directly on the deity and the Temple is open till 1.00 pm in the morning. Very helpful for Long distance worshipers.

Another peculiarity of the temple is the "Ponkala" , conducted once in a year in which ladies can participate in and have to cook payasam. On the D-day entire place around will be crowded with worshipers spread across the Kerala State and from parts of Tamil Nadu .
