Department of law, central University of Kerala is located at Alumthuruthi chantha which is 8 kilometres away from Tiruvalla town. Currently department offers LLM and PhD. for LLM intake is 30 and gives double specialization in Criminal and constitutional law. Department provides no accommodation and canteen which is the main drawbacks of this institution.

The Thiruvalla campus of The Central University of Kerala (CUK) .It was established under The Central Universities Act, 2009 (Act No.25 of 2009). The main CUK is located in Periya  Kasaragod.

Less oppertunity,not so good,no library facility.

The establishment of this educational institution, while underway, remains incomplete. Construction on several essential structures has yet to be finalized, and existing facilities possess temporary roofing constructed from corrugated metal sheeting. Given the present conditions of significant humidity and a limited student body, concerns regarding the adequacy of the learning environment are warranted.
