M/s M.K. Swamy & Sons - The Original (Swamy Bakery)

M. K. Swamy & Sons is one of the oldest bakeries in Belgaum. Located in the prime camp area (cantonment), it is an iconic landmark and has largely remained unchanged over the years. They claim it is over 100 years and there is a wall of photographs detailing the history of the bakery and is pretty charming. The bakery offers a range of delicious products like whole wheat bread, various cakes, cookies, etc. They as well have diversified and adapted with changing times, and it's possible to choose ready to fast food items like sandwiches, pizza, rolls etc. The owner and staff are friendly and service oriented. Highly recommended.

Amazing place for some light snacks and baked delicacies!...hung out with my friends during college days 10 years ago and even now the taste remains the same!

100 year old iconic bakery in Belgaum. They have maintained the quality and taste through the years. They make great cutlets, chops, Frankies, sandwiches, burgers, quiches and cakes.

Nice place for a quick hangout. The place is very authentic and full of vibes. Taste is really good. They have maintained this taste from the beginning. All food items are fresh and delicious. The place is mostly crowded all the time.

You get scrumptious cakes here. The Rolls and nuggets Prawn nuggets and other kathi rolls.Brown bread and other imported confectionery are worth buying ! Rhe owner is so humble that unless very busy he never misses a smile ! I can vouch on this 👍

It's 100 years old heritage bakery loads of options to eat.. My favorite place must visit.. Delicious cakes n for non veg lovers mouth watering puffs n hot dogs

Awesum place for veg and non veg snack items. Veg patties, Chicken Patties, Chicken Kathi Roll are my favorites from here.
They also sell one of the best bread cakes in Belgaum. Rum cake and plum cake are the best.
They also have sitting space outside where you can handout with friends.
Parking space is also ample.

Must visit to have chicken sandwich and khati rolls

It's a childhood favourite, from days of St. Paul's times to till date even if working at out station when back home do make it a point to visit the place for plum cakes and some small eats

Maintained nice quality, cleanness and quality of food with proper price

Pretty awful experience came here as a kid but it is getting worst day by day.

I had ordered 1 kg of biscuit and half kg coconut cookie etc. When I came back to home town I found almost 100 gm + less same with coconut cookie and same with biscuit I have to gift someone they are doing this.

Again I have to follow up for my issue after raising complaint
