It is a beautiful park with an even beautiful lake (jheel) - showing the historical events events with a lively representation.
A light and sound show happens to take place here but the time I visited, it was off due to some reasons.
Lots of activities available for kids and adult. Food court is also there. Just walk or get ride the duo cycle or just sit on the bench and enjoy the cool breeze from the jheel or sit beside the jheel and see sunset in the evening - this will soothe you in every possible way.

Beautiful park with nice food court as well.
The lake surrounding it is beautiful.
You would need atleast 4 hours to experience this beautiful park and lake garden.
Try visiting at 4 PM, so you can see the gorgeous sunset on the right side.
There are dualseat cycles available on per hour basis.
You would love it if you are a photographer.

Motijheel is a gem of a park nestled in the heart of the city. As an eco-friendly park, it is truly a breath of fresh air in the midst of the hustle and bustle of city life. This urban green spot is not only a great place to unwind and relax but also a wonderful opportunity to promote well-being.

The park is a lush oasis filled with greenery and natural beauty. Walking on the winding pathways or sitting on the benches surrounded by trees and flowers, one can't help but feel a sense of calm and tranquility.

Motijheel is a perfect place for a picnic or a leisurely walk with family and friends. The playgrounds and open fields are great for children to play and run around.

What's more impressive is the eco-friendly approach the park has taken. It is a shining example of how to create a sustainable green space within the city, that can reduce carbon footprint.

Overall, Motijheel is a must-visit park for anyone who loves nature and wants to take a break from the chaos of city life. It's a wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate, and connect with nature while promoting well-being. Highly recommended! 🔥❤

Motijhil Park is the one of the best place to visit in Murshidabad. This place is eco-friendly . The green atmosphere will relax your mind. You can enjoy the beauty of nature here with friends and family. There is a lake in Two Side of the park which seems very nice & there is a resort. You can easily reach here & route is very simple. This place is best for the nature lovers. You must have to visit this place at once. I went to Motijhil Park. It is not often that you get a combination of exciting activities, delicious food in one place, and Motijhil is certainly one of those locations. It is great place to go. this place is very crowded place which is located in lalbagh More, Murshidabad.

Motijhil (also Motijheel, literal translation: Pearl Lake), also known as Company Bagh due to its association with the East India Company, is a horse-shoe shaped lake in Murshidabad, West Bengal, India. It was created by Nawazish Muhammad Khan, the son-in-law of Nawab Alivardi Khan. He also constructed a precious palatial palace beside this lake which is called the Sang-i- dalan (literal translation:stone palace) which is also known as the Motijhil Palace, though this palace no longer exists. It was located at the bend of this lake. This palace was then decorated with different varieties of flower plants and precious marbles. A mosque called Kala Masjid (Motijhil Masjid), is situated in the vicinity of the lake and was constructed in 1749–50 AD.
Now the place is reinvented by Govt. of West Bengal giving it a modern and a contemporary touch to promote tourism in historically famous heritage town Murshidabad. The exclusivity of Motijhil is in its unique blend of vividly green eco-friendly ambiance with a fine flavor of Murshidabad's Nawabi History and a smooth touch of amusement items including a light & sound show to take you back in history of Murshidabad. There are battery operated cars for senior citizens and physically challenged persons as well.
