Eravikulam National Park is situated in Rajamala Hills.

It is a protected hill where we can see the Nilgiri Thaar goat.

Once we reach the entrance we will be taken to the hill top by their bus (200₹ per person entrance and bus charge for 4 km). Tickets can be booked online but need to be stamped in the counter.

We have to walk more than a km to see the mesmerizing mountain and the goat.

Visiting early can avoid the crowd but we may not be able to see the goats. Because it climb down the hill around 10 am.

If you are annoyed, depressed and sad, it’s the best place to go for a reset. Amazing view of the tea estates and mountain range. No private vehicle access. Need to buy tickets from Ervikkulam national park ticket counter where there are buses to take you to this place. There will be sightseeing until some point. Toilets are available but not clean. Water from the fountain is cold and fresh. Mobile network won’t be available. A MUST go place.

The trip to this national park was beautiful. The views justify the price of the ticket its 200 per head plus camera charges if you carry one. Try coming in the morning to avoid too much crowd. Were amazed to see the Tahrs here. It was a wonderful experience.

We have to board bus here to go to uphills to visit the Nilgiri tahr (mountain goat) reserve. journey through tea estates is worth seeing. But we have to walk/treck upwards to reach the tahr habitation. those with knee pains and other health issues may find it very difficult to treck

Loved this place. A must visit place when you come to munnar. The entry fee is 200 per person, it is actually worth it. The bus journey to and fro the national park is just spectacular.

Sighting some Nilagiri Thar will be once in a life time experiences. Neelkurijies can also be spotted if we are at the right time. Afternoon section is well suited since we can spot goats at any time and afternoons are comparatively rush free. There is a 1 km trekking at the top be ready for that and you must do that its a well worth experience.

The climate also is very good and the views are just breath taking.(Fog may cover the view any second all depends on your luck) The officers working there are friendly.
The government have done a great job in conserving a natural sight in a very planned manner, allowing the smooth entry of tourists. (This type planing and operation can coped to other national parks through out the country.)

This is a must visit when you are in munnar. A national park. Well conserved and kept clean. From here you have to walk on foot to reach the next check post which is tha last point till where visitors are allowed. Walking through this road you will find tahr, water runway and beautiful view of lower areas. Toilets are there at the cafe.

Wonderful place to visit. Reach here as early as 8 AM. Book tickets online for better experience. Ample parking space. Forest department buses will ply from entry point to top of the mountain. Nilgiri Tahr a rare species can be seen all around. Very scenic and great experience to visit early in morning.

A must visit place in Munnar. You will be amazed by the beauty of nature, especially if you reach there by morning time. Try to report at the ticket counter around 8AM, else it will be crowded in the weekends. Forest department's buses will take you to the hill entrance and from there you can walk or hire electric cab to the top locations. Better to go by walk as the hike is easy one through the road that goes towards uphill. On the way you will come across so many viewpoints and you can see couple of Nilgiri Thars.

Must visit place. Visit as early as possible to avoid crowd.
Entry fee is 200/- and they provide free wifi to pay online.
There are many photo points which every one would love and you can only see one animal Thar. They are not scared of humans.
You can drink natural rain water from the falls at many places. They are tasty too.
Total time takes is 2 hours without much crowd.
