Sri Yogananda Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Vedadri

Calm and Serene place. Though the temple is very far from highway and surrounded by many factories it was decently maintained. There are 3 main temples inside with Yogananda Swamy as main Shrine and there is one temple for Lord Shiva along with them there is a temple for Lord Jwala Narasimha on top of the hill. You can walk comfortably as they laid down a stairs and that place is so serene. You will get to see lot of monkeys but mostly they don't disturb you unless you poke them. There is one more Lord Narasimha in the form of large stone in Krishna river can be accessed from inside the temple or you can go from outside, but you need to swim couple of meters. This temple is one of Nava (9) Narasimha temples and a must visit. Best time is to go early morning or in the evening and you can spend some time on the banks of river Krishna.

Om namo Lakshmi Narasimhaya namaha.vedadri temple is powerful. Temple here is very nice and beautiful. Awesome location here. Temple is situated on the Krishna river left bank. This place is usually crowded in festival time and not much in other normal time. This place is about 10 kilometres long from jaggayyapeta on Vijayawada Hyderabad national highway. Once you have to visit here. You can bring your family and kids here at any day.

Historic place with very pleasant, peaceful and silent surroundings, nice scenery. Direct bus facility available from VIJAYAWADA and Jaggayaihpeta.

Holy place to visit. Very peaceful and vibrating temple on the banks of Krishna river near Jagayyapeta and Vijayawada. The belief is If we sleep in the temple premises at least one night many illnesses gets cured. Krishna river will became uttara vahini (turns to 180 degree). If a river becomes uttara vahini then that place is very powerful like Kashi (Ganga river is uttara vahini in Kashi). Temple maintenance is not up to the mark.

there are five shrines of lord narasimha swamy here. 1. Jwala narasimha swamy ( on vedadri hill) 2. Saligrama narasimha swamy (in krishna river) 3. Yogananda narasimha swamy (inside temple) 4. Kalyana lakshmi narasimha swamy (inside temple) 5. Veera narasimha swamy (on garudachalam hill 5km east to vedadri). Also visit MUKTYALA(MUKTESWARAPURAM) 8km from vedadri, here famous shiva temple is there one in village at river and othwr at village entrance

One of the nava narasimha temples located in two Telugu speaking states.located 12km from jaggaiahpeta.one can reach jaggaipeta through bus as it is located on Hyderabad-vijayawada highway.it takes almost 2hours from Vijayawada by road.from jaggaipeta it is often difficult to reach vedadri as the buses are less often​ to vedadri,u can also take share autos but we need to wait till it fills with the passengers.You can see five narasimha idols.Yoganda and Lakshmi narasimha in the lower temple complex instilled by sage rushyasringa,the third as salagrama narasimha in the river krishnaveni,fourth on the uphill as swayambhu jwala narasimha and can be reached after climbing 250 steps,the fifth one is 5km from vedadri on garudachalam as veera narasimha,the khsetra palaka is visweswara swamy,I'll be attaching the temple timings in the photo.

Devotional place to be visited ,the temple is on the hill but not too tall can be accessible by all.The temple is beside the River Krishna in Andhra Pradesh.The temple will be closed in some intervals of the day.Please Check the temple timing before visiting there.Place to be visiting with the family.

Good Devotional place. But Monkeys problems should control. Better arrange carpet to enter into the temple it is becoming very hard to walk in hot time . Barbers taking extra money for each one 100rs for hair removal government token 25s total 125rs .It's becoming burden to devotees.
