Just a 5 min walk and you would find yourself near the West Entry gate of Hazarduari. If you stay at the top floor Nizamat Imambara is clearly visible from the Balcony itself.

It's not at a crowded location away from the hustle and bustle but then again very close to the Top tourist attractions.

And I also must say this is one of the best and CLEAN hotel in the city of Murshidabad. Rooms are big specially 400 series on the top floor. Toilets are clean. The owner of this hotel is a gem of a person. We stayed there 5 days and enjoyed all places of Murshidabad. The owner helped us to book rooms at a reasonable price.

1 drawback would be it's not couple friendly and people are bit conservative over here so there would be stares and talks about you and you will get the vibe. But everything put aside the behaviour of owner, cleanliness and location is 10/10. Hotel manager is an old, very strict and person and at times over rules the owner of the hotel as he being senior to the owner. And he is right at his part and wants to follow the rules. The hotel also offers food and per plate might cost you max 60-100 rupees. Food is quite good and the cook is good too. The cook also has his own shop just opposite of the hotel and offers good breakfast and evening snack.

But one tip for couples book 2 rooms instead at a cheaper price. I would also mention about two staffs One aged (not manager) and one with disabilities. The disabled guy could be annoying at times and is little curious and might intervene your privacy probably unknowingly (not sure). But stay away from the older person he's bit hungry for money. Doesn't work properly. There was an incident on a Sunday when the cook takes a day off and you have to buy your own food from nearby. This old person all by himself walked up and asked if we want to have food as cook has taken a off we agreed and gave him money. Instead of packing for food for us and returning the amount he bought his food too with that money which was unprofessional. But that's has nothing to do with the hotel and other staffs and management. Just be aware of such scams and enjoy your stay here.

Sadly I didn't take a single picture of the hotel as the outside was too much rewarding as the hotel being too close to the tourist attractions yet far from crowd. The picture was just a minute walk from hotel and you find Imambara.

The hotel is very good and the rooms are big. AC and geyser are also available , but you have to pay separately for that. It must be near by Hazara Duari and Imambara.

Amazing. From the room you can enjoy the view of Ganga. Reasonable rates. Behavior of all staffs are good. You won't face any problem in this hotel. We have stayed here for two days with too much peace & comfort.

The location of the hotel is great. It is just behind the Hazarduari.. u can see the river from the roof. If u r a peace lover this hotel is just perfect for you. Rooms an service of the hotel is also good. The rent was not too high not too low.

Hotel Anwesha is budget friendly well decorated well maintained Hotel very close to main tourist attractions of Murshidabad. They have 3 bed room as well as 6 bed room AC/Non AC for family visits or group visits in deluxe atmosphere. For AC 3 bed Rs 1000/- and for Non AC 3 bed 800/- and for 6 bed AC 1600/- and Non AC 1500/- . Single Bed Non AC room also available at Rs 500/-
All the Staffs and Manager are very well behaved and good services from every point.
Now the most important thing they have set up Resturent Facility and dinning set up in their backward. Daily foods are available in meal /thali system as well as evening snacks, tea coffee etc. Dulal da and his wife provides these foods on pre order basis.
In one word high satisfaction guaranteed.

Very nice family friendly lodge very near to the Hazarduari Palace and just on the banks of the Bhagirathi river. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean, well maintained and airy. Has tv, attached bath with geyser. It is about 15 min from the murshidabad railway station by e-rickshaw.

Very good place to stay.clean rooms & bathrooms.friendly gestures by the staffs.calm atmosphere very near to hazarduari palace.but the msin ptoblem is they dnt hv any fooding arrengment.

Hotel is located near hazarduari and imambara. Nice and peaceful location. Clean rooms. View of river Bhagirathi available from the rooms. Well behaved staffs. Fooding is also available near the hotel.

Very close to station and Hazarduwari. Service was awesome, room rates are very affordable.

My experience from this trip and of this hotel is extremely Good. Hotel Answesha is my number 1 choice. Its location is indeed a plus point and staffs behavior is very good so is the cleanliness.

All was perfect for me. Walking distance to Hazar duari and available many tuk tuk at low cost.
