Very beautiful place. Loved it. Good vibe. Family, friends and also lovers friendly. Try to reach early like around 11 am. You will not know how the time goes when you spend there. Good to take food and lots of water. Peaceful atmosphere. Never miss spot

"It was an incredible experience for me. This rock is one of the tallest in Kerala and is situated in the middle of the 'Manjiyam' Forest. The road leading to the rock is in a severely damaged state, so it's best to avoid bringing cars, especially those with low ground clearance. 🙂 There's a steep climb to reach the top.

While the view from the top is breathtaking, you may encounter fog if you visit on a rainy day. Overall, it was the best experience!"

You can ride from the entrance to the base of the climb. But we suggest walking through the forest. It is only about two km walk and about one km climb. Climbing is steep, but there are steps to the top so it is not that hard. There are benches along the way to the top. There is a tea stall at the base of the climb.

One of the underrated place i would say. It is a must visit place for people from Trivandrum, kollam and pathanamthitta. You have to take ticket and road from ticket counter to the spot is roughly 2 kms and road is full or ruts and gravels. It is a kind of off road. I went with family. Parked the car after crossing 300 meters and walked to the spot and it was amazing and after hike we went back to the car and took the car to the spot 😊. Now after the hike the view from the top is a superb.

One of the best evening spot for spending with friends and family.. The view from the top is breathtaking and definitely worth the climb. The trek itself is challenging but manageable for most people. Kudukathupara view point is one of the most famous rock view point located on kollam district. The main beauty of this rock is its unique shape .The entry is charged at 20Rs .From the entry point it take 2km to reach the rock view
point. After that a 200m walking and stair climbing will reach the top point. From the top we can see the beauty of chithara estate(Oil palm). My experence over the place is super, best for one day trip.

Great place to visit with family or friends if you are coming with small kids then should be careful as it's not very easy to climb till the top also not easy to reach here if traveling by car or big vehicles especially for those vehicles which do not have good ground clearance as from the entrance to near the para there is no proper road it's like a forest and it's about 1 to 2kms from the entrance to near the para, also would not recommend this place for those having knee problems or problem with walking. The stairs are big here not like normal stairs since there are railings so it's good also should carry a bottle of water, best time to come here would be early morning or near to evening since it's very hot in the afternoon and other times during summer season not so easy to climb the stairs, also the best time to come here would be around monsoon as the view would be really great from the top, once you reach the top you will feel the efforts taken are worth from climbing this much. There is entrance fee for this place per person and also for the vehicle. The view from the top is really good and peaceful place it's also a really good place to relax, it's very silent and all in this place

It has so many steps to get to the top of Kudukkathupara. I guess its a Good place for noob hikers. But surprisingly, looks like its an evening spot for locals. The way till the bottom is bad road, better to walk or use 2 wheeler. Ticket price is minimal (₹20). Overall its a good trip for health by physical activity and refreshing by the nature's beauty.

Amazing place to visit near kulathupuzha. You have to travel through forest about 1 km to reach the bottom of the rock. Then climb about 360 steps to reach the top which take little effort. The view from the top of the rock is amazing. The wind will add a good feel in that atmosphere. It will be a great experience. There is a pass of ₹20 for adults and ₹15 for bike.

Very Nice Place, great view. Situated about 2km far from the forest office. The road is good for offroading, many steps are there to reach near the peak, it's recommended to carry a bottle of water but never throw the bottle anywhere in the forest area . Currently the surroundings are clean, I suppose it's due to less visitors. Safety precautions are less at some places so if you are travelling with kids, kindly accompany them during the visit. Overall it's another sneak peek view into the Great Western Ghats.

Amazing place to go, truckers will love that place. Main attraction is a huge rock on a hill. First we will go through jungle not a thick forest, we will get a feel that we are in a jungle, it's about one and half kilometre drive in that forest area, then need to walk through huge rocks . It's 365 steps to reach the top .there we can see mind blowing view, the arial view show the entire region. Such a natural beauty

Good view point. Steps are steep though. Climbing is tiresome. But the view & cold breeze on top are worth the effort. Must carry water with you. Entry fee 20 per person.

I love this place. It is little bit tough to get at the top. But the view from there is awesome. There is only a small shope there. There will be many monkeys and large millipedes🥺 there. Other than that it is a nice spot.
