Lovely outing place in the nature! You can go for kayaking, or boating or simply sit there peaceful and enjoy the view! Plus - its pet friendly! We went with 3 of our dogs... and they had great fun running around, swimming in the water and we also took them boating 😃

Kotna Beach is located at around 17 kms from Vadodara, Gujarat State.

It is a good place to visit during monsoon, when the river water is flowing. Unfortunately, when we visited, the waters were still.

There is no entry fee, and lots of free parking space to park your two wheelers or four wheelers at your convenience.

The Kotna Beach is on the banks of the Mahi River and has become a popular picnic spot, due to its lush green surroundings and serene waters.

Very very beautiful and completely peaceful river beach at the banks of river Mahisagar, near from Vadodara city... Not explored by many.. So not crowded or not polluted yet... But the beauty of the gigantic Mahi river is seen and experienced there.. The reason why Mahi river is called "Mahisagar", is well understood here as you can see the large banks of river, just like an ocean, meaning "sagar"..!! The river water is so neat & clean , you can see through.. The water is considered very holy and next to that of Ganga river.. You can also enjoy boating and kayaking here.. There are paddle boats and normal boats for fun boating for visitors... There is also a Mahi maata temple nearby on the way... If you like nature & peaceful places, then this place is for you..!!

Wonderful river beach. I went there on bicycle early morning.
U get fresh vibes, sun rays, cool and fresh air.

I recommend to visit this place with ur wife, girlfriend because u can spend great time with them and do kayaking. 1/2 hour 300 per 2 person.

We planned to go for kayaking at kotna beach. There is no beach but the river side is known as beach. This place is off beat location near Vadodara. So the location is peaceful and full of marvelous views. We got to experience some wonderful and scenic views of the Sunset and river. We loved the peaceful paddling down the River! It was so cool to see crystal clear water and many water plants in river. We enjoyed kayaking for one and half hours. If you're master in bargaining then you'll get kayak on rent in reasonable price.

I would recommend to go for Kayaking offers an amazing offbeat day time kayak experience while you’re in Vadodara. One will love this activity who loves to enjoys peaceful natural environment. Specially visit at sunset time if possible. Because sunset view from river is breathtaking.

Good place to visit and less then 15 KM from vadodara

A very good place near Vadodara to enjoy in Monsoon. Water is clean and shallow.
You can do Kayaking at reasonable rate of Rs. 150 per person. Snacks are available nearby at reasonable rates.
Over all a good picnic spot.

I loved this beach and who enjoyed kayaking a lot in Kotna Beach. The sunset was very beautiful time to visit any place which was sit peacefully.

Kotna beach is one of my favourite place in near by vadodara..its Feel very very peaceful to be there and just sit alone and feel the nature.... in kotna There is mahisagar river and River is Very very with Clean water... So you also take Bath there with family and Friends...there also run a kayaking... kayaking rate is 500 per person for 1 hour or something.. conform with owner of that...and do a bargain with them.
Otherwise very good Place for Enjoy a picnic with family and Friends.

Closest place for such riverside gateway from the city of Vadodara. Even though it is getting crowded day by day, kayaking while watching the sunset can always be the good plan.

Downside - someone please instill some civic sense in people to not litter with plastic waste and gutkha wrappers! Spoils the scenery Needs cleaning!.. But then.. What's new 😒

It is a very beautiful destination near kotana village at the bank of Mahi river , there is kayaking is available ,very good experience you should definitely visit with family if you are staying near by this or in Vadodara district. One thing you keep in mind that bathing is also available in river in nearby bank area but no provision of cloth Changing there.so, you keep towels or extra cloths that help you. They charge 150 ruppes for one person for half hour kayaking in river, view is good , awesome experience.

I loved this beach not crowded and good for kayaking at nominal price. We enjoyed a lot. The problem we faced were the road to reach kotna was too thin and the beach is dirty and its obvious cause people throws garbage in the river. And it's only half day picnic. Else it was an awesome.

A beautiful place to vist with your family as well as your friends. You can also enjoy kayaking there. The cool breeze and sound of river flowing give soo relaxing vibes. Snacks are also available there. The charge of kayak is ₹300 per person for 30 mins on weekends.(might be low on weekdays)

WOW it’s breezy cool day at the great Beach so close to Baroda. Very quiet clean close to my places, private beach to get away from busy crowds gossiping. A great day for a long walk. I listen to tide's ride’s music on sunrise and sunset fall, with blue skies. Time is precious soothing to watch birds fly by moons and stars. Happiest Moods for sweet memories captured every moments with my eyes as I watched my life journey sitting on sand with friends. Thank goodness we lived together by our own stylish nature. Bird gazing every evening sanctuary’s old retreat. My currents plans for fun activities is to follow the spirit of life enjoy witness my life with friends family together and lots of laughs like chirping birds in fresh water outdoor adventures.
