Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT), Vasad is one of the most popular choice for the students who wish to do their Bachelors in Engineering near Anand and Vadodara. The college is affliated with the Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. The college is located approx. 2km from the Vasad Bus Depot and surrounded by the lush green farms. The college has its own cricket ground, football ground, stationary, library, central lawn, admin office, canteen, study room, girls room, sports room, and so many departments with many classrooms, halls, and labs. All the faculties have decent amount of experience in teaching. Students can either stay in the hostels nearby, use everyday bus service provided by the college, or use GSRTC bus service. I preferred GSRTC buses to travel to the college everyday. College timings are mostly 9:45 AM to 4:30 PM. Fee structure keeps on changing but during my time, it was approx. Rs.37,500/Semester. College hosts many events every year and students from all over gujarat participate in them. College also has a good placement record. I'd definitely recommend SVIT, Vasad to the students.

We went there with our friends. And I love the overall environment of the SVIT campus. The new canteen is so good. The food was also very tasty.

Svit cllg is best cllg in Vasad. It has Architecture, Aeronautical,Electrical, Mechanical,Civil,IT,Computer,EC and MCA branch. Faculty of svit are also nice.

One of the finest engineering, architecture, aeronotics & technology institute. Almost 13+ engineering branches running over here with lot of vocational courses. Professor are well educated, enthusiastic & trained. All departments have their own well equipped labs. Large central library with multiple set of books. Cleanliness, hygiene & decipline is well maintain. Institute is opposite side of the vasad village and at bit remote place. But good amount of hostel and food facilities available. Every year institute held technology festival and lot of technical competitions happen. Professors really works hard to make students excel in their life.

It'll look like they're making you compromise some facilities, spend a little time its worth it. Its doesn't much feel like a college but believe me, big campus=lower education and placements!

It has a amazing lab facilities with wifi and AC ...also the classes are amazing with the projects also the lab facilities are great !
More over the technical event such as the HACKSVIT... was of the 36 hrs it was at the national level organized in our clg ... !

I have chosen CSE because I am interested in the course and the faculty here have good knowledge in the subject and the ratio of students and the faculty is good. The qualification for the faculty to join in thins college is that they have to complete their M. Tech and some faculty has completed their Ph.D. who are currently working here.

If you are want to study the best near by the Vadodara area at all this the best after MS UNIVERSITY, And the best ever for Aeronautical engineering in all over the STATE.there are some other problems which have to face for SVIT student like poor transportation, poor road conditions but in food there are extremely and reasonable number of 4 canteen and the quality of food is the best in those canteen.
for study this college is better.some times problems of network is accurd but not even such poor that other people said on Google review.Infrastructure of college is good and in this college sports students are appreciated than other colleges and having best environment for sports personality.
You will find best places here to chill out like Mahi river bank, Vehrakhadi, railway station some times.

It's perfect college if your range between 70% to 80%. Faculties are student oriented. College structure is attractive, Students are cooperative.
Don't leave this college if you have allotted seat here and you are lying between the above range.

Good experience overall, the faculties are always ready to help the students and the material and knowledge provided here at SVIT, Vasad is perfect. But canteen food facilities should be improved.
