Very much unpopular and under rated place for global tourists but as a photographer people should know about this place which has won many national awards. During December and January many species of migrated birds come here for nesting. People should visit this place and make it popular as a Photographer photography place.

This place is so peaceful and beautiful that I can't express them in words . I am really scared of water and being on a boats , still this place is so mesmerising that forgot all about my fear . Should surely visit this place if you love to see wild life in there natural habitat .

-To rent a boat you will have to pay around 1200 to 1500 (it may vary off season)
- Only 4 person can seat in a single boat
- There is no camera or photography fees
- The ride is of 2 to 3 hours (of course it can be shortened on your wish)
- Tip from me eat something before you go there , it doesn't have any good restaurants near to eat .

Thanks for properly maintaing mangalajoi and keeping the habitat safe from growing city and concrete jungle. I want to keep your attention to the fact that many renouned photographers carries fish and dead frogs with help of few guides and boatman, which were feed or used to take photographs, it should be stopped. It's against the nature's law. Feeding dead frog and fush is against nature's law. Birds enjoy catching living fish, frog and snakes. Their habits should not be disturbed. Authority should look on this matter seriously.

This is a nice place for bird observations. Different types of water birds can be found here and they are in their natural habitat. People are very helpful and friendly.

This place is situated near Khurda road junction. It 40km from that station. It is a wetland under chika, Orissa. Various types of birds with migratory birds also seen here. Best time to visit is November to March.

This place is a paradise for bird loving persons, especially photographers. Apart from residential birds a huge number of migratory birds flock in this region and it's adjoining areas. The people living adjacent to this region are very simple, honest and friendly and very much adore their guests. The only drawback is there is no good hotel in this area. Everything else is fine.
