Mangalajodi Nature Camp, Chilika

Everything was nice at this place. The forest dept official is on site. They run this place in a perfect system.
The rooms architecture is phenomenal. The food is very nice and on time. The boating is nice.

It is very nice place , nice camp and nice people.
It is a ecotourism destination. You can see the best views especially in winter season. Lakhs of birds comes to this place in winter season , known as ‘The birds paradise’

The nature camp has 12 beautifully designed cottages. The rooms are large with a huge balcony again designed so that it just integrates with the surroundings. The rooms are really clean with an attached clean toilet. There's a UPS for all rooms. The rooms are comfortable and spic and span. The AC works well.when there's power. The grounds are still being done but it's lovely. The approach is rather bumpy but it's worth the trip. The manager actually came and showed is the way.
We were actually a large group and yet they served is breakfast and an exquisite much without complaint. The food was as if it was prepared at home. Extremely tasty without being oily or spicy. The service was out of the world. Very polite staff and kept offering more. The price is absolutely worth it as it includes all meals. Amazing trip. Kudos to the staff and manager

We had an amazing experience here in the nature camp. The rooms are very neat & clean. The staff behavior was very courteous.The food was also excellent. Just like home food. The word watching trip was also very good. The guide helped us in spotting birds. Only problem is the approach Road to the resort. Hope the concerned authorities will take care of it soon.

The nature camp has all the amenities that one would look for when visiting a place for eco-tourism.
The staffs are pro-active and are so cordial.
The place and place is clean with 24 hrs electricity.
The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are well maintained.
The food is delicious and the cook can customise as per the requirement of the guests.

This is such a beautiful place situated near Chilika Lake. They have four cottages and each cottage has 4 individual rooms. The rooms are kept clean. Water pressure is nice. Rooms are air conditioned and spacious. The lawn is nicely maintained as well.

They also have a Dining Hall where they serve buffet lunch, dinner and breakfast. They also serve Pakoda and Tea in evening snack.

What stands out is the friendliness and hospitality of the hotel staff. They try their best to accommodate to your needs.

Definitely this hotel is recommended if you want to spend a relaxing weekend amidst nature.

It's a camp runned by the forest department don't expect 5*treatment.
But the complete crew were very nice and polite and authentic Orissa village food.
Recommended for quiet and peace loving people.

Awesome place for the nature lover within you... The best place to witness migratiry birds which flock to Chilika during winter... The place itself has around 16-18 cottages on a small hill slope with other amenities like a kitchen, dining area and a children's park... The room a big enough and spacious attached with a large balcony which provide the awesome view of the Chilika lake from it... The food in the kitchen is healthy and they cook around 4-5 dishes for lunch and dinner.. They also provide breakfast, tea and evening snacks... Overall, the stay is nice and it seemed value for money when you include all the services being provided.... A must visit for anyone who loves nature

Well built property, does have all basic amenities with a scenic location. Main attraction the Bird site is just 2.5 kms away. Courteous and polite staff too

All Eco tour sites of Odisha has its own beauty and special features.. This is almost 2 hrs drive from Bbsr.Located on the banks of Lake Chilika.
It offers u a nice stay . Hospitality is awesome. The bird watching trip included in the package is mind blowing and is must of nature lovers.
One will really enjoy the sight seeing and identifying the different types of birds.

Beautifully located on the hill slop amidst nice plantation, well maintained and peaceful place to stay. Extremely helpful and cordial support persons. Nice food. Well placed to visit Mangalajodi Wetland in Chilika Lake for migratory bird watching.

It's been a wonderful experience to stay at this Nature Camp at Mangalajodi. The camp is very new and full of natural beauty. It's situated in a silent zone far from the locality. The food was excellent. All the staff members are very polite and helpful. Do not hesitate to book your room here.

One of the most tranquil place, the sighting of birds was seasonal, but the experience of being there was absolute heavenly the food and service provided was very good. I recommend this place to all woth8 reservation.

This place is new, just a year old but the staff here are really welcoming and hospitable. The good here has a rustic flavour and the staff here make sure we eat till our brims. Yes, the rooms are costly, but the way these people deal with the whole situation is just too professional yet homely. One boat ride is included in their hotel charges. It's a protected compound around 2 KMS away from manglajodi jetty and it has a pretty big campus area. The rooms are sunny and airy and they are fitted with all kinds of amenities. Cheers to the managers! Would love to be back. This is a Paradise for bird watchers with good food and good stay! Keep maintaining and kudos.

Mangalajodi is an olden village under Tangi, Odisha block in Khordha district of Odisha at the northern edge of Chilika Lake. Scenic beauty of this village and its vast wetland attracts the visitors. In 2017 this village is declared and functioning as a separate Grama Panchayat (Mangalajodi Grama Panchayat).

This is very beautiful place at the hill top side near the chilika lake bird sanctuary, situated at mangala jodi, Railway, Roadways, Airway & waterways are available to reach this place.

Very beautiful and peaceful place, the staff was very friendly. Loved the hospitality and food was just like home. Rooms were quite spacious and very well maintained. Will be visiting again for sure 😊
