Gayatri Mata Temple (Pap-Mochani)

Gayatri Mata temple is situated at the mountain named Nilgiri Pahad and and it’s quite a peaceful place which you can visit any time. Not so crowded Bhaiya you have to do little bit of tracking for the way up, but it’s worth the time

Doable hike. But it's hot even in December, so carry water. There is water near temple and its cool despite the heat. Great view from hill top

Place has a really good view of pushakar come here in the evening to have a good sunset followed by a night view of town.

I went here for the sunset and damn, I was left mesmerized. I ended up spending a good 3 hours here, till the time of the evening prayer.

The place is very calming and soothing. It's a short 15 minutes hike on average. And the view is tremendous. I could see the entire town along with the majestic Pushkar lake.

There were only 3 people when I went here, and it was really peaceful. Soothing songs were playing at the temple. And I also had a conversation with the local priest, who's a friendly young man. He shared the history and cultural as well as religious importance of Pushkar.

Overall, I had a really beautiful time here and I've heard that the sunrise from here is beautiful as well.

Easy hike up- no monkeys during our time there. Go an hour before sunset to sit and watch the light change over Pushkar. 🌏✌

From here one gets a very beautiful view of the entire city. Between the Aravalli range, Pushkar is often called the Teerth-Raj. Pushkar is also famous for the lake, which has 52 ghats

Locals also call it Gayatri Mata temple. Possibly the most peaceful place in the entire town of Pushkar. Its a 15 minute hike from the Pushkar bus station and people are more than willing to tell you where the steps start. There is a small veranda like space outside the temple where you will find people sitting and staring into the distance. However there is a clearing right under the veranda that I have made my pet spot over the last two visits that I have made to Pushkar. The image i'm sharing is the view from that point.

This temple is situated back side of Pushkar bus station. One need to treck a little bit to reach the temple that is on top of hill. Temple is small but one can have beautiful spectacle of Pushkar. Visit during sunset to have marvellous experience. Pandit is very nice.

Best to hike for small trek and get whole view of pushkar

This temple devoted for Goddess Gayatri. Goddess Gayatri is the second wife of Lord Brahma.

This is a great place for both devotees and nature lovers. Pooja, bhajan, and other ceremonies are perfectly taken care of.
The sunset view is amazing with a 360-degree panoramic view of mountains and the Pushkar village.

Nice small temple dedicated to Gayatri Mata could be reached here by 30 minutes walk on hill steps

Very good point for Sunrise....less than 15mins hike and view is spectacular! Go 20-30mins before Sunrise to witness Golden hour.

Spectacular place with peaceful vibes. A ten minute hike offers the entire Pushkar as a view... Windy, beautiful and oh so serene - it's simply a must visit. ❤❤
