Chances are that you need to go to PGI because you/patient have already been through all other/local medical facilities, and now you need advanced/expert advice and treatment. Such is the responsibility of PGI. Most patients have already crossed atleast first few stages of the problem - and now they need to be treated.

Have no doubt on the merit, experience and expertise of the Doctors and the Management. And it is expected that many times they might be working in the firefighting mode.

Since treatment cost is just a small fraction compared to almost anyplace else, expect lots and lots of rush. Due to this, not just the person under treatment, the person(s) accompanying also get to suffer unfortunately.

Parking is always a problem.

I hope that one never has to go there, but the world doesn't go by hopes only.
