Himachal Tourism HPTDC Hotel Hatu

It's in very quiet place. Surrounded by trees. Have good parking space. It's little upside from market so that's good things. You can stay or just enjoy food. Good place to go with family. It's budget hotel so that's good thing food is always good there..

We, a team of four persons, including two senior (85 yrs & 70 yrs) members stayed at Hatu, HPTDC on 23rd September 2024. Superb experience regarding location, view from rooms, food and services. We are entirely satisfied and would love to suggest to put up in Hatu, whenever at Narkanda.

Superb place to stay with Valley View Rooms with Balcony. You can book rooms through HP Tourism website. It made my day when I asked them to bring the Breakfast food to my room as we were ill and they supported us.
Rooms, Views & Service is good. To find the way ask locals when you reach Narkanda & not depend on Google maps asit lead us to a remote dead end location.

Awesome property....with very comfortable stay ....food served is hygienic with Himachali flavors.....Staff very cooperative..location is very good....

Very pleasant experience with great food and beautiful location.

A nice hotel with great views of the sprawling apple gardens all around along with great views of the Kinner Kailash mountain range. However the peaks are visible on a clear sunny day. The property is well maintained and the services are satisfactory. Food is good and tasty as well.

Very nice hotel to stay in narkanda with great views, food ans service. Very near to main market.

We stayed at this property for a day only but enjoyed the stay. First of all staff was very hospitable be it porters, room service or Restaurant staff. We stayed in snowsuite which has unhindered valley view. Though we visited in March but I can imagine who beautiful the view would have been during the snow fall. Food was simple fare but delicious and hygienic. It’s also a good halt on the way to kylong or spiti valley for that matter. Special thanks to Manager Mr Negi and Mr Tarachaand Who tried their best to pamper us within their resources

The hotel has large rooms, with great views and location. All facilities are available nearby. The hotel offers great value for money. The food is also nice and the service is fast

Good view from balcony...it was pleasant stay

One of the best properties to stay in Narkanda. Nature Views and location-wise HPTDC properties are best to stay. The rooms, Food, and staff are good. Make sure to book the room(s) well in advance to avoid room availability issues.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 3 other families and the stay was comfortable and peaceful. Excellent place to spend a night or two.

Delicious food by the chef, All staff members are helpful, especially Mr. Gurudev who will ensure that you have excellent food and a stay experience.

On the way to Spiti Our First stay was at this hotel. When we reached there...the scenic beauty was mesmerising. You can feel the nature. Hotel's rooms were clean and they provided heater for free. The food quality was also good. Very satisfactory experience with this hotel

The place is nearly 50-100 metres from the market of Narkanda. But the view from this place is breathtaking.
A wide view of the apple orchards all around, sweet fresh atmosphere and a pleasure weather. If you are looking for a cool place to get away from the screeching sun of Delhi, it is a great place to be at.
The food here is decent, nice hospitality, clean rooms.!
Must visit place if you love the view of the mountains.

Excellent stay option for family.

It's very clean. Location is right next to highway. Staff is very hospitable. There's a garden where you can have breakfast and relax looking at the hills. Also, being a government maintained guesthouse its cheap. But you have to pay 19 percent as luxury and service charge. Book early as it is difficult to find rooms here.

Me and my family stayed in this HPtourism Hotel Hatu, Narkanda, over the weekend of 17th Sep and would like to mention it was one of the best stay in a long long time. First and foremost is the view of the hotel is amazing and unbeatable. Secondly, the rooms ( we stayed in DB Snow suite) and the room had balcony with amazing views and overall amenities. Though they don't provide Electric kettle but we requested it and they provided it which was very convinent for us. The staff there in front office , restaurant and everybody were very cordial, professional and great. I would like to call out Lal Singh Ji in their restaurant who was amazing with smile on his face and providing personal touch everytime we went there for ( breakfast and dinner or snacks etc.) . I would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody and would like to visit in future. Thanks to the entire staff and the M 3anager Mr. Harshvardan Sen there who made our stay comfortable and memorable.

Benefits of this hotel
1. Breathtaking views so one of the best places to stay in Narkanda if not the best.
2. The hotel has ample parking space and it's on plane area and no slope.
3. 300 mts walking distance to Narkanda town main market and bus stand.
4. The food is inexpensive and at the same time very tasty as well.
5. There is absolute silence as its not on the main road( no issues of sounds of vehicles or traffic)
6. The rooms are decent, clean and spacious
7. This is good stopeover hotel for your long destination to Spiti/Kalpa/Chitkul/Singla etc.
8. Good sit out area with lot green surroundings and wide flora where you can enjoy with your friends and family.

Things to consider and good to know while selecting this hotel
1. Not all the rooms will have balcony so you will have to select it while booking and mention it.
2. They don't serve the food in the lawn sitting area (which is understable they might don't want to spoil it with food spillage and other such issues)

Amazing Place with very humble staff. Good tea.

Stayed in their suite. Nice view of the mountains from the room window. Lush green garden to stroll. Minimal facilities. Could add a kettle to the room. Staff is extremely polite and helpful. 1 km from Hatu mountain peak. Peaceful small town and serene beauty of mountains

As beautiful as it has always been. It doesn't get any better. You can sit in their garden for hours. Most relaxing away from the crowd.
