The town of srivilliputhur is know for Palkhova. Puliyamarathadi lala kadai is one of the oldest and most authentic producers of this palkhova. You can get palkhova made from pure milk and it's delicious. Lesser know fact is this place offers other sweets like Milk Halwa, Carrot Halwa, Wheat Halwa etc which are equally delicious.

Awesome taste.. the taste of real srivilliputhur palkova. Very near to bus stand. Don't go to branded shops and buy through false promotion. I found this shop after reviewing multiple aged people at srivilliputhur. Hope it helps.

The place is traditional. It has a tree infront of it. Their palkova is one of the top 3 palkovas in Srivilliputhur. They also have wheat halwa, carrot halwa and milk halwa too. The products are super yummy. Must try for everyone. The packing is good and compact.

This seems to be the old (from 1963) and original shop. Quite close to the bus stand. Old and not fancy. Quality is very good.
