Srirangapatna Bridge

The Wellesley Bridge was the oldest road bridge across the Kaveri river at Srirangapatna. Built as per most other bridges of the British era, it is worth seeing from a distance for a minute or so. This bridge is now old and cannot handle heavy traffic seen nowadays, hence, a new bridge was constructed. One can see the old bridge from either the new one or from the Thomas Inman's Dungeon in Srirangapatna Fort.💛

Good place, this bridge is located next to srirangapatna Railway Station, quite long bridge worth of seeing. Old bridge still stand strong, constructed on the river carvery
