Srirangapattana Railway Bridge

The experience and alertness I had while walking on this bridge was exhilarating. Please walk on the main track with caution and be aware of trains incoming, find the nearest side lot and go briskly. The ginormous steel sections used to make this truss will leave you in awe. And the board walk is also just about 2 feet wide, take care

If you happen to visit venugopala swamy temple in KRS backwaters take the route towards srirangapatana.
This route takes you through one of the most beautiful interiors of the village around and mind this you cannot pass this bridge with a big SUV.

The bridge is very old and the width is short only small cars can pass through giving you this beautiful view

Beautiful view of Kaveri River can be seen from here. There are two big bridges( One in South Kaveri River and other in North Kaveri River). Srirangapattana railway station is exactly between these two bridges. View of Kaveri River from train is really beautiful. Kaveri River flowing in two directions can be seen from here.

Constructed by Indian Railways to cross Cauvery river. Like other railway bridges this is also made up of Iron and steel.This new bridge is safe for crossing. Srirangapattanam is peligrim place, another bridge was old enough to demolish hence government constructed this new bridge. Srirangapattanam is connecting place between Mysore and Bangalore. This bridge is devided into two segments, bridge then shrirangapattana station and then again bridge, it shows shrirangapattana is a island.

Nice place to do film shooting. And photography. But be care full heavy traffic moving of locomotives
