Worth to Stay and minimal cost. Canteen food tasty but little costly. Sunset point super, everyday morning one hour 6-7am allowed.

A beautiful beach inside Vivekanandha Kendra. The black-red sand beach adds beautiful colour to the sea view. The sun-rise view is best from here.
A neat and clean place. There is no food/refreshments available near the beach.
You need to walk from the gate to this place, ~2km. Some individuals were selling fake-pearl necklaces at low cost.

Peaceful place and very less crowded. Way back from the beach is also mesmerizing.

Vivekananda Kendra Beach is in Vivekananda puram, Kanyakumari. It is opened in the morning from 6.00 to 7.00 and in the evening from 5.00 to 6.00. Many tourists assemble here to see the beauty of sunrise and sunset in the Bay of Bengal. There are many hawkers selling maalas and many other things made of sea shells, chanks etc. One can bargain and buy the things. We can also see Eknathji's sammadhi and also the statue of Swami Vivekananda and the Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial which is in the sea. All the three are in a straight line. These are maintained neatly by Vivekananda Kendra.

Very divine place, gate to beach open only in morning one hour duration, and currently close at evening. Safe and clean beach.

Splendid View..., Beach side gate will be open from 6 AM to 7AM.

Very nice place to view Sun Rise/Set. Very pleasant place near Vivekananda Statue of Vivekanandapuram. We can see place of Vivekananda Rock Memorial from here. At evening time lightning Rock Memorial is one of the great attractions which can be viewed from here.

Best place to stay, close to balaji temple, sunrise point, very calm

A really beautiful place. The merging of three seas and also three types of sand can be seen here it looks so beautiful. And the rising of the sun can be seen so beautiful the feeling can't be described here.

It is in the sea great place to visit

We have visited Kanyakumari recently from 16th November, 2022 to 21st Nov.and again from 26th to 28th. 22nd to 25th we were at Trivandrum.
We have stayed in Vivekananda Kendra Guest House 3km distance from Vivekananda Rock. Single room, double beded room, Hall, Dormitory, Cottage, Group Stay, AC Room, Non-AC room are available with most reasonable rent. Online booking Facilities are provided in the site on pre payment. Generally 3days booking is provided. But if no rush one can stay for more days on request. Large number of accommodation is available in the Campus. It is a big campus with forest area. Large number of Peacocks are moving here and there creates beautiful atmosphere. Sunrise spot with small beach area is kept well maintained and protected for vivekanand kendra visitors and boarders.Meditation Training centre is located in the Same Campus. Overall it is a beautiful calm and quiet atmosphere in this well maintained big campus of Vivekanand Kendra .Specially those who are devotees of Ramkrishna Mission and inspired by Rishi Vivekananda should visit Kanyakumari and stay at Vivekanand Kendra. Early in the morning village women bring hot milk for sale. One glass Rs.20. Auto always available in the campus. Free bus service available after every 1/2 hours from campus to beach 3km distance upto 08pm every day. Cloth wash is allowed in the room. Really it is a beautiful campus.

Excellent place to stay. It has its own beach to view sunrise and sunset and every facility is available. It's a must stay place. Very calm and peaceful place.
