Ristorante Il Convio

My family had to find a dinner spot between the coast and inland and discovered this gem down a windy secluded road. We were instantly glad we took the chance to dine here; we were treated like family and everything we tasted was delicious. The truffle pasta and the pasta with leeks/pistachio were our top pastas and the filet with truffle sauce was so velvety and flavorful. The whole dinner we felt like a family member had invited us over; cozy relaxed and inviting.

One of the best meals we’ve had on our trip. The host and waitress were very kind to us and their sweet black cat Tina cuddled up to my chair. Their terrace was beautiful, what a beautiful way to spend an e evening. We ordered the charcuterie board to share, which was very yummy. I had the truffle pasta and my partner had the truffle steak. Both were out of this world good. It’s a bit difficult to get there, but highly worth it!

hidden pearl. very good restaurant, we had various meals and they were all astonishing. The wine from beconcini was delicious. The service was very good, kind and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this winehouse and this restaurant if you want a really cosy and luxe dinner.

We had lunch on a Monday. Very calm and relaxing exterior area. Truffles are very tasty. Owner is very kind. The detour is very much worth it :)

Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere and friendly service. There is a large beautiful garden where kids can explore and you can feel the love that goes in both the food and the surroundings.

Locale con veranda e giardino.
Abbiamo mangiato pesce ed era tutto buono ma credo che anche il menù di carne non sia male vedendo passare i piatti. Personale molto accogliente e cortese. Dopo mangiato ci si può rilassare sulle sedie e i divanetti in giardino. Prezzi corretti. Consigliato.

Arrivi al ristorante in un ampio parcheggio. Sali le scalette e poi...5..4...3..2..1..Ciak si gira! Ti affacci al ristorante dove lo contorna una bellissima area verde spaziosa. Non parliamo dell'interno poi! Un favoloso casale antico,ampio e su 2 piani. Apparecchiatura impeccabile! Tavoli tondi con sedie, luci soffuse e lumi di candela. Un vero trionfo d'arte. Ma parliamo dell'accoglienza. Il proprietario molto simpatico e gentile ci ha deliziato con piatti sublimi e vino ottimo. Finito di mangiare ci siamo potuti godere delle sedie in giardino perché come dice lui ,nessuno ti butta fuori! Torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare altri piatti. PS: Ottimo il tartufo. 😉

Personale cordiale e simpatico che subito ci ha messi a nostro agio.
I primi assaggiati ottimi, così come la tartare ed il tonno. Stesso dicasi per i dolci.

Il Convio si trova poco fuori San Miniato, in una zona bellissima e immerso nel verde.
Dal parcheggio enorme si arriva a un casolare rustico ma tenuto molto bene. Fuori, un ampio pergolato è ideale per mangiare all'aperto ma dentro è davvero spettacolare.
Accoglienza cordiale e informale, e grande conoscenza delle materie prime.
Ci siamo fatti consigliare sia per i primi (imperdibili i tagliolini al tartufo, che prendono dalla tartufaia all'interno della proprietà - beati loro) che per i secondi, tutto molto buono, accompagnando il pranzo con un vino di produzione locale, fatto a pochi passi dal ristorante.
Prezzo non economico ma adeguato alla qualità e alla location.
Consigliato per chi vuole ritagliarsi un attimo di pace nel verde.

Bello e buono. Siamo stati qui per pranzo, ampio parcheggio e bella location immersa nel verde! Sicuramente consigliato per un pranzo all’aperto e se dopo pranzo si vuole riposare un po’ e restare a godersi la giornata sulle varie sedie/panchine/dondoli posizionati nell’ampio spazio verde. Staff gentile e disponibile, torneremo sicuramente se passeremo in zona.
