Essenza in San Miniato

The food was amazing!! For dinner, we had pork, steak, risotto, and a noodle dish. Each one was so flavorful and cooked perfectly.

For dessert, we had a mix of the options in the display case. All delicious, but the Cubano specifically is one of my favorite desserts ever.

The service was fantastic, they even offered a free small pour of bubbly while we waited a few minutes for our table.

A great place to chat with friends or to read a book. High quality products with kind staff. It is more expensive than other places in the area, but the ambiance and attention to detail make it worth it. They also have special events, lunches, and aperitivos. They offer free wifi, a book exchange, and assorted board games.

If you're in a hurry, looking for a takeaway piece of Tuscanian food, this is the place! My sandwich was handmade at the moment in just 3 minutes. Good as hell and cheap as few! Picture proof 😉

I stopped by to grab my family some lunch to go and we liked it so much we went back for dinner. Dinner was amazing with a nice liter of wine, more meatballs…..me and my wife went the seafood route and it was all very lovely. The staff are also great. I recommend!! The only thing I would say is they have a “simple menu” if you just are walking by, but please realize they have a much larger and beautiful menu….very good. Thanks everyone

Great place to grab a coffee in San Miniato.

Here we had the most amazing lunch in all Italy, you need to search for the small balcony with the most amazing view! Also try the truffle pasta.

Best pasta I've had during a trip to: Florence, Pisa and San Miniato. Quiet, lovely, little place

Ottima cena in San Miniato all'Essenza. Ottimi piatti, molto buoni e ben preparati. Servizio attento e puntuale. Ottimo menù e carta dei vini. Un paio d'ore passate splendidamente. Prezzi in linea con il servito. Ottimo bar per ottimi cocktail, per chiudere il tutto. Bravi.

Von Anfang an fühlten wir uns wohl in diesem Restaurant. Wir waren zu viert und hatten nicht reserviert. Somit wurde extra für uns ein Tisch hergerichtet. In der Zeit bekamen wir ein Prosecco aufs Haus und uns wurde etwas von der Vielfalt der Hauseigenen Schokoladen Produktion erzählt.
Als wir dann an unseren Tisch gebracht wurden, wurde auf ein paar extrawünsche nach Rücksprache mit der Küche und alles super leckeres Essen serviert. Yummy 🤤
Der Nachtisch war der HAMMER 🤩. Und diese Auswahl an flüssiger Schokolade 🍫 rundete alles ab. Ich denke die Bilder sprechen für sich.

Nettes Lokal mit schöner Aussicht auf die Burg und die Toskana. Typische Trüffel Spezialitäten des Ortes.
Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal.
Bessere Öffnungszeiten als viele andere.
Versuche einen Platz auf dem Balkon zu ergattern ;-)

Quando una brigata assieme alla sala lavorano bene, va detto.
Servizio nei tempi giusti, presente e accogliente.
Un buon risotto zucca e mazzancolle seguito da un fritto di mare.
Consigliata anche la tartare di manzo con tartufo.
I dolci sorprendenti, e torniamo tutti bambini, consigliato il tiramisù.
Bravi.

Di passaggio a San Miniato mi son fermato a cena.
Sono rimasto Sorprendentemente Sorpreso dalla cortesia e dalla professionalità del personale dell’ESSENZA, ma ancora più sorprendere la qualità dei cibi adagiati. Davvero top il crudités che era di eccellente qualità e freschezza in abbinamento con frutta fresca.
Sicuramente consigliabile una sosta se vi trovate in zona e avere desiderio di specialità di pesce.

Tornando a casa da un week end al mare ci siamo fermati a San Miniato caratteristica città storica tra le colline famosa per il tartufo bianco si svolge qui a novembre la Mostra Mercato Nazionale del Tartufo Bianco non potevamo fermarci ad assaggiarlo e abbiamo scelto il ristorante Essenza situato in un palazzo in Piazza del Popolo dove ho gustato come antipasto Tempura di Gamberi su crema di ceci allo zafferano come primo Tagliolino, burro, acciughe e Tartufo Bianco per finire con un Sigaro al cioccolato fondente al rum una delizia tutto speciale ben cucinato dai sapori distinti abbiamo aspettato tanto ma era il pranzo domenicale ed era pieno tanti turisti ma il servizio è stato abbastanza buono e comunque i piatti hanno sopperito a certe mancanze lo consiglio se mai durante la settimana è meno caotico
