The restaurant has a nice ambience with local decor. Super friendly staff! We arrived a bit earlier than the actual opening time. The staff was having lunch but lead us to the table anyway. We were able to get some cool air at the hot noon.
The deer ragù, with a slight touch of berry sauce, amazing! Tris del sorbetto, ah, what a gift in the summer day!
We tried the home-made grappa, one of the best we had in Dolomites. If we go back to Dobbiaco, here is our spot.

the team runs a very small kitchen with bbq on open fire and they serve best quality meat and food in general. very authentic, simple but very tasty and typical regional products & dishes. there is only few tables so make sure you have a reservation in high season. the prices are more than fair for the quality. if you like high quality and local food and wine, a high professionalty and passion in the team without fuss, you will appreciate this place a lot!

Finest restaurant in Dolomite , best food and very kind staff

We arrived without a reservation and were offered a streetside table or bar service. We were attended by a wonderful waitress, Alessandra. She was very attentive and effecient. Our order was perfect. The "Tyrolean-style" beef was cooked to perfection. Tender and delicious. The spatzle with speck and Dobbiaco cheese was the best we have had in Italy. Our salad was fresh and colorful. An excellent dining experience which was very reasonably priced.
