We came a bit earlier than expected to the restaurant, and David welcomed us in, let us get a glass of wine, and get respite from the rain. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband cannot stop talking about how amazing the veal was. I got the trio of pastas, and everything was absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to go to the Dolomites again for this gem.

Amazing food and amazing hospitality. We ordered multiple things and each one was awesome, the person who attended us went above and beyond to make us happy and well feed and have awesome recommendations. We had no problem what to other as we knew no Italian and were vegetarians. They have options of veg pastas, risotto and breads. If you are visiting lake Braies it’s a must visit place.

Absolutely delicious, the dishes are a bit unusual but that's what so unique about them. The ingredients are top quality and the servings are generous. One of the things I likes most was that you could order mixed dishes for almost all courses, even for dessert. Ten out of ten, would reccomend. If you are around Dobbiaco or San Candido you MUST stop there, I sure plan to do si again.

We where a bit surprised about the location of the restaurant. Driving up a small mountain road in the dark is not something we are used to. But quickly we found out it's all worth it. We shared two menu's and it was amazing. The food is seriously good and the staff very friendly and helpfull. So yeah. If you are in the area it's a must go. But reserve a table or you'll miss out.

Best place to eat in the whole area. Chef is very talented, great presentation and taste. Deer was very well cooked to be soft, Desert variety had extremely good souffle chocolate

Hands down the best restaurant we’ve been to in the Dolomites. Our server David was very friendly and delivered top notch service. My wife and I arrived at the restaurant earlier than expected but the staff was flexible and welcomed us in. I highly recommend the veal. It melts in your mouth and is so delicious. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in the Dolomites!

So good that we had to visit a second time! We had two delicious dinner here. The first night we chose the special set menu. The primi and the dolci were amazing!! So delicious. The second night I had a steak- which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The meat had a lovely flavour and texture. As an Irish person used to Irish beef this is very high praise!! Good wine, good atmosphere and very kind, friendly staff. Thank you so much for your lovely hospitality.

Absolutely delicious local food, with a fantastic friendly service and great ambiance. The waiters were really helpful & every course we ate was incredible.

We really enjoyed the food - all courses including dessert - as well as the housemade rosemary and honey schnapps. Staff was very welcoming and ambiance was on point. Overall, this was our favorite South Tyrolean meal

Great place, best meal in Dolomiti! Fantastic food and service!

Well worth the (adventurous!) drive up. Surprisingly stellar cuisine in a down-to-earth cosy place. They make their own speck and the pork comes from their farm. Make sure you try their homemade grappa (honey and hay?!) and don't miss their variations ("Tris") giving you the pleasure of sampling 3 of their delicious dishes at once.

This was most definitely the best dinner on our whole trip and absolutely one of the best dinners I‘ve had in years. Cosy atmosphere, well priced for outstanding quality of food and taste. We are still talking about our dinner at Kugler‘s weeks after coming home. Hope to be back. Dont miss this!!

tradicional and tipical kitchen from south tirol , very nice local, friendly stuff and great ambiente. Don't forgett to preorder a table otherwise you could be unlucky to find no free one.
