Al Vecchio Forno

So good Italian seafood place in Menton. I selected this place after checking the reviews. It is by the sea after the old town passing marina. Beautiful local place. Food is amazing, service is very friendly. Portion is normal not huge. We got here right at 7 when they opened, glad we did it cos it got busier around 730-8 and no more seats. Otopus pasta is so so good, the best one I had. We also ordered seafood stew, very fresh and tasty! All 3 dishes and wine for $74? So good 👍

This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve had Italian food at. Helps that it’s so close or Italy 😉. The seafood spaghetti was absolutely delish - so much seafood, the pasta was cooked to perfection. The rest of my friends had pizzas and they devoured them. Highly recommend 🤤

The last excellent Italian food that I had was in Rome. I finally found the next place that I will return for its seafood risotto, pizza, seafood pot and wine. This Italian restaurant borders between Italy and France. The most authentic Italian place ever. Every dish was excellent and we had a great conversation with the service crew. Big portions, fresh seafood; worth every penny. Anyone who is coming to Menton or the neighbouring towns should come try the food at this restaurant. I am returning again for the same food before I return home. 5 stars anytime!!

I recommend this restaurant for all, food was exellent, better than in other restaurants that we went to. Im looking foreward to returning back here. Espesially the seafood was made perfectly.

Nice place and it's location close to the beach and marina. Good food - I do recommend.

For this money it's a good place and service comfortable. A pizza you must eat with oil of olive or they sous especial, don't forget it.

Amazing food, pizza have amazing tasty dough and just the right fluff to the crust, and everyone else was enjoying their seafood risotto and pasta, and they specially like the calamari 😎

Close to la Basilica St. Michel and close to the beach, il Vecchio Forno is à quite popular place. I tried the sauted Vecchio Forno. Delicious fish and shellfish soup. A bouillabaisse à la mentonaise

This a great place, excellent pizzas, good value and well run. I haven't eaten in but I've had a number of takeaway meals and they have all been served promptly by friendly staff. By the time I've finished my beer the pizza is in hand!

When other restos is closing it was cooking for us good calzone

If you are looking for a real Italian restaurant, with good pizza and sea food than this is the place you want to try :) Really good food, excellent and fast service and above all you get a normal size portion (someone could say even a big size portion). All that for a reasonable price (which is this days quite rare at Cote d'Azur).

Recommendation: Sea food salad and pasta with octopus.

Great pizza, pasta and wine. Would highly recommend. We ate in a few places while in menton but this was the best by a long shot.
