What a gorgeous place! At the end of the hike there’s a little cafe where you can get absolutely delicious coffee and sandwiches

Absolutely beautiful. Most plants/trees labelled. Well looked after. Cafe at the bottom of garden worth the walk and time it took to get there. Take the bus or walk. Had to park along main road.

Gorgeous botanical gardens stretching all the way down the hillside to the ocean. Well thought out, perfect for a couple of hours. Lovely cafe at the bottom to have a cappuccino or a Prosecco. $9 euros per person or $25 for a family. Highly worth it.

Very nice Cliffside garden. We follow the red arrows taking us all the way down the hill to the ocean side café. Then we took the pathways with the blue arrows all the way back up to the top. Along the way do you see some pretty Things.

Amazing place. There's a bus number 1 from Ventimille to get there , because there's no parking around. Also it's about 5 km walk from Menton ( if you are into walking). And there's a bus from the border in Menton

We visited on the 7th of March 2018, the weather was cool but sunny, being so early in the year we had no great expectations. However we were stunned by the beauty of the place, there was very little in flower, though the variety and types of plants and trees was enough to keep us amazed throughout our visit. Every corner turned produced a new vista, which kept the camera clicking. The park is on the side of a steep hill, which drops down to the sea, but following the prescribed route was never difficult. Alternative routes or guides were available for disabled and the blind. The staff were very friendly, helpful and patient with my bad Italian. The cafe at the very bottom of the hill by the sea sold coffee, ice-cream, filled baguettes and cold drinks. A limited selection though adequate selection.

Very beautiful area. Not overcrowded, relaxing with one bar and snacks nearby the water. You can spend hours there.

Beautiful testatement to the English love of gardens. Designed as a nature reserve and has now become one of the World's most important horticultural sites. A real treat. Get the bus up from Ventigmilia 3 euros return. But you need 4 hours to see it, if you are a bit challenged re steps etc. you can pre book an electric buggy. Spot the war damaged trees!

Stunning selection of exotic plant species. The place has an amazing history with visitors like Machiavelli, Mussolini, Queen Victoria, Churchill to name a few.

A great sprawling Mediterranean garden with many examples of agaves, succulents, cacti and a large collection of brugsmansias

This is an amazing place. It takes hours to see, and be sure to bring good hiking shoes, as the entire grounds are on a steep hillside and you're constantly climbing and descending stairs and slopes.

In summer potentially a bit exhausting because you need to climb up again.
Plants and flowers are also nicer in spring and autumn.
But the parc and facilities are really wonderful and for sure wearth a visit.
Parcing can be challenging as you need to leave your car on the street.
