Carrefour Market Nice Gambetta

Nice touch with the outdoor cake shop/bakery. The cakes are awesome. We found anything we needed and it was one of the few stores opened in that area in the evening.

Good big supermarket with all the things you may need and freshly baked bread at the entrance.

So far, the best supermarket I have visited in Nice

This market was so perfect for us. As 2 backpackers, it was easy to find cheap yet good quality items to make quick and healthy meals. The absolute shining star of this place though is the bakery which is one of the earliest things to open in Nice. It was right next door to where we were staying and it featured bangers like 85c pain au chocolat straight out of the oven and the best pain au raisin I’ve ever had! The cashiers are always lovely, and will often reach back to the trays fresh out of the oven to give you your order. Highlight of our trip for sure!

What a great super market with the most amazing food selection of every kind.

Carrefour has great choices of products in France or abroad, great products as usual and great quality.

Know where to shop for some savings while on vacation. Beverages and even prepared meals/sandwiches/wraps can be found here at reasonable prices and close to the beach and busy spots.

Cheapest one we found in the area for alcohol, has great variety of everything but hardly any cold drinks- the Express supermarket around the corner is more expensive for alcohol & has a better range of cold drinks.

Larger version Carrefour. More choice than the 'city' stores. Fresh fruit and veg lovely and different to back in the UK. If you want snails..you can get them here. Brands you know may look a little different but try the home grown things (especially deodorant, shampoo etc) Staff were lovely and helpful and spoke english when required. Wine-of course. Chocolate is more expensive than the UK- so again try the European stuff. They have a 'home-stores/ hardware section in this branch.

We got everything we needed and very friendly lady on the patisserie counter helped me as she spoke English

Good market, many different sorts of casual things and grocery You can find there!

Probably my favorite market on earth. Nothing special here, but the cashiers are always so friendly with my truly awful French.

Awesome store and so much to offer was amazing to wonder around as a tourist and see French food BTW the sweets are 10/10 compared to my home country Ireland

Amazing. I challenge you to go in this shop and not find what you need. It's full of knooks and crannies with a vast array of stuff. Never mind the selection of typically fresh french food. Plus, it's convenient for city centre living.

Great, cheaper go for it

Best shop in the area. It has a wide variety of products, from repair-stuff to all the possible food you can think of. The prices are pretty good, cheaper than the average.

Lost my phone at the bakery counter and the kind staff kept it for me.

Very average Carrefour, big one, clean and nice staff. Big positive point for me, open at Sunday till 7.30pm.

Good availability of products, very good quality of produce. Customers services need to be improved.
