What a gem. On the hillside village of Izzalini, near the church square. We stopped for pastries in the morning and were advised that it is a good idea to call for a reservation for dinner. We called at noon and got a 7pm reservation for 4, sitting outside. Parking is just on the side of the road. We were the first party to arrive for dinner and were seated promptly. It was a very hot day, but the front patio is in the shade and felt fine. Our young waiter was very kind and patient with us, translating the entire menu and explaining the dishes. They even made buttered noodles and plain pasta with sauce for the kids. The food was fantastic, especially the potato gratin and the steak with rocket and parmesan. The desserts were incredible, as well. We were especially impressed by the presentation of the tiramisu, which looks like a flower pot with a plant growing in it! Highly recommended restaurant. An amazing experience that we'll never forget!

My wife and I were staying nearby and our hotel recommended this place for dinner. We are so thankful they did. What a great experience! Our hotel made reservations on our behalf. When we arrived for dinner, we were greeted quickly and escorted to our table. Our server spoke English very well and explained the menu to us with great detail. The menu is in Italian, but not an issue since the server spoke such good English. We ordered bruschetta topped with fat from the pig. I know that it doesn’t sound appealing, but it was amazing! I recommend trying it. Then I had pasta with wild rabbit ragu. The server suggested I trade out the egg noodles for a local fresh option, stringozzi. I’m so glad I did. The pasta was amazing. My wife ordered the lasagna (not anything like lasagna in the USA). The lasagna had peas and sausage. Also extremely tasty. We then split a dish of beef tail stew based on the server’s recommendation. It was so tender and flavorful. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Right next to the antiques place and the church, this unassuming building looks like a small bar. But once inside turn left and you have an accomplished restaurant comprising three small rooms. There's a very good selection of wine and the food is great. Beautifully cookies, well presented and in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Thank you for such a wonderful meal and fitting us in at the last minute! The food was absolutely delicious and definitely should try if you are in the area, a 13 minute drive from Todi! The tiramisu was amazing!!

We ate here 4 times in 3 days. It is at the base of the Castello Izzalini Todi Resort. The pasta and charcuterie were amazing, but the house wine (both white and red) and the pistachio liquor were enough to move to Umbria. The staff at the restaurant were more than helpful, and accommodating with my lack of communication skills. Five stars all the way

Planned to visit once, ended up going four times! Fantastic food and atmosphere. Enough options for gluten free. Staff were lovely. Would definitely go back. Recommend booking, especially if a large group.

Fantastic restaurant. Bianca was our server. She was patient and super helpful, especially with our 1.5 year old. The food was excellent and the Negronis refreshing. We finished our meal with their homemade vanilla and pistachio gelato — and that’s the stuff dreams are made of. Highly recommend!

We ate here four times last week and it was fantastic. The food was delicious I loved everything and especially the vegetable lasagna. The staff were also first class. Can't wait to visit next year.

Best food we've had in Italy so far! Beautiful, friendly, warm, home-style service and just delightful all-round - you must go here if visiting Umbria, and if they have it, buy a bottle of pistachio-almond liqueur... nectar of the gods!

We stumbled past this place on our way southwards, and this was really a lucky find! The staff was really friendly and prepared a table for us even though the place was crowded and they were really busy, and they Even managed to take our order and serve the food pretty quick too, despite having a lot of customers. The food was excellent! We had bruschetta with really tasty tomatoes and olive oil, and we had two different types of gnocchi that we would both recommend - one with gorgonzola and one with duck ragu.

Awesome food and brilliant service. Highly recommend this place. The chick pea dish and gnocchi were amazing.

Fantastic local Italian food. Familiar atmosphere. I had caccio pepe e pistacchio pasta. So smooth and tasty!

An excellent little restaurant in the picturesque hills south of Todi. The food is traditional but prepared with sophistication and attention to flavour. We will come here again.

Everything good but they wouldn’t share their wifi with us. We were lost and really needed to get to our hotel after our delicious dinner there.

We have eaten lunch here a couple times and plan to return again in the coming weeks. It’s a delightful, low-key place, with delicious food and a friendly staff. They even divided each course for us so my husband and I could share - and try more different dishes!

If you didn't look for this place, you could totally miss it, which is a shame, because the food here is very creative and very good! The place seems small, but it actually has a lot of tables.

If you want to try something Italian, but slightly different, this is the perfect place to eat at. They have very inventive dishes, non-traditional (at least to my knowledge), but in a good way.

The tiramisu here is phenomenal, get at least one if they have it on the menu.
