We loved this beach. The water is really calm and warm (late september), there are not that many people around and it has a relaxed vibe.
You can park on both sides of the beach just on the road.

The best beach in the area by far. Sandy, reasonably priced lido and safe gentle seas.
We visited twice and used the blue-umbrella lido which was €25 for the whole day and €15 for a half day (from 1pm) payable at the bar. The bar is reasonably priced and do a good range of food - huge plate of Fries for €4. You can also rent a pedalo with slide, which is great fun. This was €20 I think, for an hr, or €12 for 30 minutes. There are also toilets, showers and changing rooms which the hotel will let you use if you ask nicely.
The water is clear and unpolluted, as you can tell by the abundant wildlife. My children learnt to snorkel here as it is safe, sandy and with lots to see. We saw amazing rainbow fish. You can explore both sides of the cove, although the western edge is much easier for children. On one day the waves were a little high, but we loved jumping over them in the sandy area. On the other day it was dead calm.
The beach is reasonably quiet, most loungers are empty. The blue ones belong to the hotel, which had some activities in the morning (aquarobics at one end if the beach, and a teen party throwing coloured powder about on their lawn. These didn't go on for long and the afternoons were quiet both days. There is a free section of beach, which is also the shadiest, under the cliff at the western end.
Unless you are staying at the hotel, you can only reach the beach via stairs at the western end. Parking is along a straight section of road and is 1€ per hour or 6€ for the day. You may need to walk as much as a kilometre from the parking machine to the beach, but it is worth it.

Sometimes it's hard to find the access to Sicilian beaches! We found this one on our way from Cefalu to Palermo. When arriving the dead end street, you can enjoy a beautiful view on Cefalu on your right. There are what looks like private sanded beaches on your right but if you turn left at the bottom of the stairs, you'll find your way through the dark "volcanic" rocks (they are smooth to the feet, you don't need any special equipment). Go turn left after a little cliff and there you will find peace and communion with this beautiful piece of sea. The water is crystal clear (when the water is not too much excited) and you can enjoy looking at fishes swimming below you. And more of all you are just alone in the world! Don't tell anybody! ;-)

Molto bella a livello naturalistico.

Mare spettacolare, spiaggia libera e attrezzata

Stra consigliata!
