Villa Giardino Paradiso

Well kept and with a great location just less than a kilometer from the nearest beach and merely minutes away from the picturesque town of Cefalù. Giardino Paradiso is an excellent venue for any larger family or group of friends in this price range.

The main house has no less than five spacious bedrooms, all with their own bathroom and shower, air conditioning unit, mini fridge and TV. Two more rooms in the small garden house is also available for an even larger company.

The pool is deep enough to dive (carefully) in to and more than large enough for kids to have a great time in!
The garden is filled with citrus trees of all kinds so freshly squeezed juices and lemonades quickly becomes a daily luxury.
The kitchen is large enough for all to eat together but if one wants to enjoy meals a little more private there are two other tables in the garden.

Minor issues are the low water pressure on the second floor, barking dogs in the neighborhood and that the second barbecue didn't have a proper grill grid. But you'll be hard pressed to find any other location in Sicily without these truly minor flaws.

The owner and manager Benedetto Giardina showed up within the hour after we called him and asked about the wi-fi that suddenly went offline (turned out to be an ISP-related issue that Benedetto solved with a phone call to the internet providing company).

On a whole we were very pleased with the house and our stay in Villa Giardino Paradiso and I would very much recommend staying here, especially if you travel with children. If this house is too large for you, check out his web site since he also has apartments and other smaller villas.

We paid €2200 for a week in early June and used all five rooms, prices do vary depending on when you stay as is the case in most parts of the world.

We spent 10 days in this villa in September. The villa and the surrounding is excellent and very nice to visit Cefalu as well as all the mountain villages. The owner of the villa was very helpful and gave us good advises of what to see and do in Sicily.
