Showed up without a reservation yet they still managed to find us a table before the next service.
We ordered the pasta with sardines and the fish of the day which was perfectly cooked - literally melting and the orange zest seasoning was amazing- finished this with a tiramisu to share.
62€ was a decent price for the location, quality of the food and service. We highly recommend this place to anyone passing by the beautiful city of Cefalù.

Great Sicilian restaurant. Every dished we tried was very good (octopus salad, parmigiana (the best I’ve ever had), pasta allá norma and mussels. We also got the tiramisu but that one could be better, I would not recommend.

Genuinely the most FANTASTIC meal I’ve EVER had. Hands down best Italian of my life. It was super authentic and delicious, me and my friends were left in awe and ate every last drop, hence the before and after picture for proof. The service was superb, we highly recommend getting the pasta alla Norma, meatballs, and most surprisingly - the orange salad. Buonissimo

My travel companions and I, had dinner twice at this lovely restaurant, during our week stay in Cefalù.

We were able to book a table easily, using WhatsApp. We felt welcomed, the service was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The second time we visited, I was greeted by name. The food was classic Sicilian, thought often with a slight twist. It was cooked to a high standard, using local ingredients. Certainly a great place to go to in Cefalù!

Our hotel recommended this place for dinner. great restaurant with great art.

Was an incredible evening of great atmosphere and food.
We opted to share dishes and they divided the portions of pasta up for us which was very thoughtful.
Highlight was the Sicilian meatballs!

Great Location in Cefalu. A Beautiful restaurant with a warm ambiance. The interior is simple inviting. Staff are attentive, Friendly and helpful.

Food arrived very prompt. Great tasting. Lovely presentation and of fresh produce. I loved my ‘Octopus Salad’ with orange and basil.

Booking is essential. Very grateful to have the opportunity to dine here on such late notice.

Very wonderful Sicilian restaurant in Cefalu. seemed to be really popular, therefore we arrived a little early at 19.00 with no reservations. It was nice that they let us know we could have a table on the terrace till 21.00 which was plenty of time.

We chose the sardines as an appetizer, and beef rolls and seafood couscous for our main courses. All three servings were excellent and delivered promptly.

Eatery seems to have a slight French influence. Some foods have names that sound French and were somewhat inspired by French cuisine.

would most definitely advise, however if you don't have reservations, arrive early.

Great restaurant, warm welcome down a side street, away from hustle and bustle of the square. Excellent aubergine starter, and the meat balls were divine. We loved the white Sicilian wine donnafrugata. Thank you

The best food we have had in Sicily so far (admittedly, we have had quite a lot of disappointing food on our trip). The food wasn’t quite 5 star but I’d give it more than 4.
We ordered eggplant antipasti, pasta alla norma, beef rolls and tiramisu. It was all enjoyable enough. The service was good. The wine that was recommended to us also good. No complaints.

Service and atmosphere were charming and relaxing. Our waiter was good humoured and patient, and the food was fantastic. Melanzane with perfectly flavoured passata, beautiful seafood pasta and delicious wine. The antipasto plate was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The resident cats passing through (pictured on the logo) were a bonus form of entertainment. Would definitely eat here again. Thank you, Le Chat Noir!

The best aubergine parmigiana - 10/10. The sauce used in this dish and on the meatballs is a must try. Our waiter we had was also super friendly and provided great recommendations.

We visited Cefalu on a day trip, we just randomly walked around turned a corner and there this restaurant was. The food was amazing, the service super nice and the ambient was great too. It is a restaurant where you should have more then one course and really enjoy your time, not just grab a bite. If you don't want to sit by the street there is a lovely bit inside which is kinda still outside. The price for the food was very reasonable. The fish was super fresh, the pasta definitely homemade and the drinks absolutly delicious!

I just loved this restaurant.... I love the fact that they are a slow food restaurant!! The antipasto was just amazing, a plate full of sicilian bites! My pasta al pistacchi was delicious and they were very generous on the amount of pistacchio sauce. I ordered a cannolo because I love them and when I tasted it I thought that this is the best cannolo I have ever tasted (and I have tasted many! from catania to syracusa to ragusa to noto milazzo trapani etc). Go there and experience authentic sicilian food with a beautiful philosphy behind the dishes.

First of all, the staffs at the restaurant are very friendly. They have an impressive service with smile and multiple languages. The foods are very traditional taste, great suggestions in the menu, and fresh ingredients. The combination of the foods are perfectly made. I come back with over fed stomach every time 😂

I had a lovely meal here this evening. I went on my own and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. One of the best Normas I have had (I’ve had a lot) and sarde a beccafico also fantastic. Very fresh. Delicious local wine in a caraf as well. Go here instead of the tourist restaurants on the sea front, you won’t regret it.

The food here is INCREDIBLE! You can really tell that the chefs are passionate not only about fresh quality food, but also passionate about the culinary masterpieces they create. I have eaten at a few restaurants here in Cefalu, and Le Chat Noir is by far my favourite. My all time favourite dishes would have to be;
the parmigiana antipasto, the prawn ceviche antipasto, pasta alla norma and pasta bucchirisi, for secondi the sardi a beccaficu is an absolute DREAM, and for dessert the tiramisu is my personal favourite. A beautiful little family run business, an absolute 10/10 for me!
