The place with the most pleasant atmosphere in Catania. They have the best granata with many flavors. Cappuccino and espresso were excellent. For breakfast, there is a large selection of sweet and savory pastries, and since there are hardly any bakeries in Catania, this was great. They also have the largest selection of cakes and treats, it's too hard to decide what to try because everything looks delicious and it really is. They can also pack for you to take away. Every day there was a grandfather playing the accordion next to the pastry shop, which gave an even better impression. The staff is very friendly and at your service, there is no waiting and they try to explain everything so well. Prices, service, food, drinks and everything is perfect. It is located right on the promenade in the city center in Via Etnea, so it is easy to find. Any recommendation and thanks for everything.

We had a pleasant experience but I read that scammers can enter and to bother you. That it’s not good.
The food is tasty.
The location is also great.
The owner is very time at the door :))

Everything was perfect! We tried the cannolo with ricotta, pistacchio and chocolate. They were amazing but if u are trying the 3 flavours I recommend to start from the chocolate one because it was not too sweet and I am sure there was a bit of liquor or something in it. Also the tiramisu was good not the best one but still great :)

We were leaving the Elephant plaza when my memory hit me. I used to have breakfast and coffee in this cafe with my husband before going to Catania market. Oh boy! All the pastries, gelato, coffee and cakes they have, DELICIOUS 💕

Fabulous cafe, cannot recommend it highly enough! All the food was great - I went twice and tried a range od savouries, cannoli and granita with brioche, all very tasty and very reasonably priced. I found the service to be fantastic, I visited solo on both occasions and was welcomed and given one of the tables for four outside, rather than ushered inside for a smaller table. I wasn't rushed and it was a wonderful spot to watch the world go by. A must visit if you're in Catania.

Great discovery during our stop in Catania for coffee and refreshments. The arancino and ragu tortellini were very savory and generous. Outstanding service by our waiter, Ignazio!

We were a bit skeptical at first, given some of the reviews, but this place was perfect. The food and service are great; reasonable prices. The waiters are also quite helpful, friendly and funny. Definitely one of my top places to go in Catania!

This is one of my favourite cafe's in the world! I came to Catania last year, and I'm still having dreams about the arancini and cannoli from this place. You have to try the pistachio arancini, I promise you won't regret it.

I would say that this place probably changes depending on the time you are visiting. We visited oofff season and I cannot complain about the service or the quality of the food. Now what I noticed is that on a Saturday it would get really busy and service would really be really slow and probably the quality of the food being prepared or the pastries is not that good as they probably were made in a rush. We did have breakfast two days in a row there so we had a really nice Panini which was very well made together with a cappuccino and fresh orange juice and I have no complaint from the food. However, the service is a little bit slow. Yes, but this is normal for most places because they are always usually under stuff. This is the way that they make you stay longer and probably order more more over that. Not everybody spoke English which made the service even a little bit slower. However, it was very bearable.

The food is really delicious, and the sweets are yummy. The services and the bathroom can be better. I love the patio as you can watch people walking while having a good drink and something delicious to eat.

I was a bit skeptic after reading all negative opinions about rude staff but they were very welcoming and friendly. We were here 2 times and both time same experience with a different staff.
Food was really tasty and the prices are reasonable.

Great place to observe the locals strolling around along with the tourists. And friendly staff ! Tried the almond granita which was bliss.

I searched high and low for gluten free Sicilian goodies and this was THE spot! We stumbled across it by accident and I couldn’t believe it hadn’t come up on my research. I had yummy GF savoury pastry, ricotta filled GF cannoli and most importantly, yummy GF brioche! The granita and coffee were decent. There were so many options i couldn’t have tried it all in one visit. The service gets a bad rep here but don’t let that put you off. Well worth a look if you’re on a pilgrimage for GF Sicilian treats!

Absolutly the best ice cream I have ever had. You MUST try it. So creamy sweet but you don't feel like eating sucar... Just fabulous
