Etna Rent

Highly recommended. I was looking for a rental car cheaper than the airport solutions. That's how I found Etna Rent. I had high hopes when I saw their good reviews and I wasn't disappointed!

Though only the lady at the reception spoke English, but that was enough. She was kind and helpful, and very passionate: she even called me crazy twice when I said Palermo was 400 kms away from Catania :), which gave the whole situation an unofficial, friendly vibe.

The car we rented was in quite good condition, we only had slight issues with it that did not affect out 7-day, and 900 km long rental period in any way. Since we returned the car unharmed, they released the deposit, which I fully got back within 5 working days.

They are also humans and make mistakes, so be sure to check the papers you are about to sign (and she insists that you check them thoroughly). She also insisted that we carefully check the car and take photos upon pick up. If you follow these simple steps (and avoid those misunderstandings that caused some 1-star reviews here) you will have a great experience with them!

We booked a scooter for two (300cc) for several days in May 2022. It was prepared upon our arrival. Big asset of this company is ever-smiling Simona who explained everything in very good English. It is also close to the bus station feom the airport close to the city center. Just be aware of the afternoon break/siesta. I would definitelly recommend this rental.

Great experience, such a pleasure to meet the people at Etna Rent! The nicest people i have meet in all Catania! Especially Angelo. The prices are good and we had absolutely no problem! I totally recommend, it was worth it all the way!

Everytihing was great. I rented scooter, they are a bit price but still that was one of the best adventures of my life. I really recomend you to try yourself driving on Italian streets especially on Catanian roads!

Awesome rental service conveniently located at the heart of Catania, easy take off for travelling anywhere you need to go, fast service I walked in and within a half hour had a great scooter, and low cost for a day made it really easy for drop off. If you’re gonna rent with someone choose these guys.

The service is blazing fast and amazing! I was able to rent a car literally at minutes notice. Lori from support and Maorena from Taormina office were really helpful.

I also want to especially thank Anna from support. I had a problem with a bank after my return (this was my problem with my bank - not theirs) and Anna went out of her way to help me with arranging all the documents.

Super nice and friendly. Only one person speaks a little English but we worked it out. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine and people there were very friendly and helpful. We were able to rent a scooter without prior reservation. We wanted to get to Etna so they gave as stronger 150cc scooter. Deposit was returned after a week.

Amazing service and prices. We were satisfied with the car and the on-line comunication. The employees at the rental didnt speak English at all, but we still managed to work everything out. If you want to rent a car in Catania and save some money use this company.

Without advance notice, we were able to rent a scooter for three days just like that as tourists. Very nice team, everything well explained, professional handling. Scooter very good.

Etna rent offers excellent service. We arrived on a Sunday and they opened up especially for us. I was able to rent a car here though I don't have my driver's license for a year yet (my partner does have it for some time). None of the other rental agencies offer that (not even for extra payment). The girl at the counter is the only one who speaks English but she speaks it well and the replies to our e-mails were very quick. If you're going start or end your holiday in Catania, I would definitely recommend hiring here.

I rented a large 300ccm scooter for 2 days. Everything was without a problem. The owner of the company, Mr. Angelo, helped me a lot. There were no free scooters so he gave me his private one. The 300euro deposit was immediately given back to the turn of the scooter.
RECOMMEND! Honest company. =)

We paid 60 euros for a almost new white Fiat 500 L, its more expensive than the competitors but at least you know he's not gonna rip you off a few weeks later taking it from your credit card. Angelo the owner is super nice and communicates through google translator haha! He was kind enough to send someone giving us a ride back to our hotel. He doesn't ask for your credit car nor a security deposit !

This is literally the best place ever to rent verhicles. We rented a scooter for two days. Unfortunately on the first day the scooter broke and we got stranded somewhere on the italian highway fron syracuse to catania. The owners of the place personally came to us and drove us back to the store. After arrival we were offered some fresh water and got our money back immediately. As you can imagine we did not wanted the scooter for the second day any longer, and also that money we got back!! That makes this place very special. The owner was just more worried about us and did not care about the money at all. Very kind Italian guys. Would have given 10 stars if possible!

Very friendly locals. Unlike other places, you can rent cars here without worries to be scammed!

Etna Rent is the only one point to rent bikes and scooters.İ rented Honda sh 150cc scooter for 1 day and choose unlimited km,gone to Etna Sylvestre Crater and Taormina all about 175 km.İ would like to say thanks Simona,who is very kind and sweet.Highly recommended.Ti amo Simonaa!will never forget

Great place to rent a car because of the personal level of handling (I even negotiated the price down because it was low-season). I was helped by Simone, who spoke great English and was very supportive thinking along with me 👌

Ooops. Sorry. That review was for another rental agencie. I'm actually ended up renting from you. Very nice staff here. I thought I was reviewing the agency that just told me that they don't rent scooters or motorcycles even though they have motorcycles on their advertising.
