Cantini Bar Trattoria

We had a really nice meal here. We had bucatini as primi, I had cheese and pepper, Jane had pecorino and pancetta. Both were delicious. We shared a carne misto which turned out to be plenty for two people. With a litre of wine the bill was 60 euros.

When I read the other reviews I decided to ignore the negative ones and give this place a try. I’m glad we did. It’s small with few staff, if you need attention a simple “Mi scusi, per favore” will get you everything you need with good grace.

Try it out, it’s worth it for the view alone

This little place is awesome!!! simple, small but with a killer view and great atmosphere. The food was great, so were the prices. Marlene made us feel so welcome every time...it was like visiting relatives. it was exactly what I wanted for our vacation. we went back almost every evening. 😀

Oh Yeah! That's the place where you wanna have breakfast or eat good food. All the pastry and salty items are handmade , tasty, simply gorgeous. You can fell the butter in the dough ... Coffee is amazing and the owner is a friendly mam with years of cooking tradition impressed in his face .

This is the best place for a casual lunch in Tuscany! Order a proper lunch on the terrace overlooking the Tuscan landscape. We ordered the white truffle antipasti (melted cheese, sausage and fried quail egg, topped with lots of white truffle shavings) and two pasta dishes. Food was lovely, view was even lovlier, service was welcoming and attentive. Don't forget to enjoy the amazing espresso and a little custard tart topped with pine nuts before you leave!

We came to the restaurant with lowexpectations given the fact that it has less than 4 stars. We were seated as soon as we arrived and we got the best seat in the house with a great view of the valley. The food was phenomenal and the staff was very friendly. We asked for ice cold water and they didn't have it but they offered us some ice by themselves! It's definitely on my list to visit again

Nice and family run. We got a table with a view. Best of all were the cantucci, kind of soft, and so delicious. We bought extras to take with us and gobbled them up. Have tried to re-create them at home, but can’t get the texture right. Please share your recipe!

The two types of pasta we tried were delicious, perfectly complimented by white house wine. The terrace offers relaxing views over the valley if you are lucky to get front row table. Be aware they serve a big basket with bread without ordering it and charge for it 3 Euro per person

We had a very good lunch here. Both the arrabbiata and pasta al pomodoro were delicious. And then we split the boar (cinghiale) for the second. This was much better than the cinghiale I had previously tried. The service was good and there is a great view.

Food is amazing and the staff are friendly.
Well priced for the amount you get. Would highly recommend. Great for children and families. Very authentic Italian food.

Friendly, authentic trattoria with good food and wine at fair prices. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

We always pop in here when we visit San Miniato (to stock up on charccuterie at the fabulous butchers opposite.) Have the pasta with tartufo Nero...simple and perfect 😀
