Emiko and Marco are spectacular people who share their special love of wines and food. Go for a bite and a glass of wine, attend a market workshop, or find out more independent knowledge in their week long workshops. It's so amazing! I can't recommend their slice of heaven enough. Get a slice yourself! 😍 We will come again and again! This was a white truffle workshop. #sagradeltrufflebianco

I was fortunate enough to join Emiko and Marco on a market day & cooking class in their beautiful space - Enoteca Marilu. From the moment we met Emiko, her warm personality and wealth of knowledge about the local region and its incredible produce started the tour on such a high note. We walked around the town of San Miniato and were shown where the best local produce could be found, before being lead to the space to start the class. Enoteca Marilu is absolutely beautiful, with a cellar (for takeaway wine purchases) and family style dining table right next to the kitchen - where we took the class. The attention to detail from the start exceeded all expectations, every single detail was thought of! And of course, Emiko’s guidance and style of leading the workshop was so relaxed and enjoyable. Marco paired natural wines with local cured meats and cheeses between cooking and we all had such a fun day learning, chatting and enjoying beautiful wines. The space itself and the class is a true testament to their love for food and appreciation of local, quality produce. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in learning more about Tuscan cooking or just food in general. Well worth the trip to San Miniato & I’d recommend staying in the town a few nights and following Emiko’s guide as to where to eat & stay!

Marvelous wine shop and enoteca, Marco will introduce you to some fabulous natural wines. And the market day cooking class with Emiko is a dream. Delicious food with great company and we learned so much! Highly recommend.

I had very high expectations before visiting the place, and it didn’t disappoint ❤ we loved everything, the cosy interior, the soothing background music, the wide selection of wine, the chats with the owners. :) Marco gave us lots of tips on how to make the most of our days in Tuscany, and helped us connect to small producers and enjoy authentic food. Can’t wait to be back!

Our little family group of 4 were lucky enough to join one of Enoteca Marilu’s market day cooking classes in the atmospheric Tuscan hill town of San Miniato. Hosted by the delightful foodie icon and cookbook author Emiko Davies and her lovely husband ( & wine expert extraordinaire) Marco Lami, the experience was an absolute treat and a highlight of our 5 weeks in Italy. Emiko & Marco were generous, patient and marvellous company as they steered us through the simple pleasures- appreciation of local produce, what to look for at the market, pasta making, preparing multiple courses and gathering around a table together to share it all. Enoteca Marilu itself is atmospheric and classy- the perfect backdrop for this unique experience. The group we were in were all of different ages and experience levels and everyone had a wonderful time.
Grazie Mille Emiko & Marco !
Highly recommended.

Anything and everything Emiko Davies touches is pure gold, and this delightful endeavor is no different. We are so very fortunate when our world gets to wonderfully collide with hers. Bravissimo, Emiko!
