An absolute meat-lovers paradise. Great selection of meat and wines. Best carpaccio and beef tartare that I’ve had. Reasonable prices for the food quality (cca 30€ per person with steak, appetizers and wine). The staff are really nice. There is paid parking across the street. The place is not big so call in advance to book a table. I would definetly recommend visiting this place.

My wife and I happened upon this little restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. They have plenty of meat options because it is the restaurant side of a butcher shop from what I could tell. So if you want to sit down to order make sure to enter form the correct door. The owner didn't speak English but still worked very hard to accommodate us. They do have English translations in the back of the menu which was very helpful. This food will be a little different for the typical American but we enjoyed it. We got a cheese and cured meat appetizer. I ordered one of their tartare dishes which is essentially seasoned raw beef. My wife went with the safer approach ordering a meat lasagna. Both were very delicious and we both left satisfied.

Wow. What a wonderful meal. We read about this place in Pasta Grannies and took the trip to San Miniato to try. The most incredible lasagne we’ve ever had and truly delicious sliced steak (“Tagliata”) and potatoes. Lovely service, just the friendliest people (have your translator app ready!). We will definitely return on our next trip trip to Toscana. A must visit. Grazie Mille!

Trovata per caso, ma un ottima sorpresa.
Abbiamo preso due ottime tartar da un menu con un ampissima scelta. Volevamo prendere la ribollita e la lasagna a menu, non essendo disponibili abbiamo optato per un'altro tipo di lasagna fuori menu. Peccato! Ci hanno accolto con due entré (due tartine e due polpette) molto golose e infine abbiamo chiuso con cantucci e vin santo.
Un ottima esperienza anche perché la cucina è a vista e il locale molto caratteristico (un po stretto).
Siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dal conto, sotto le aspettative.

Il locale, il servizio, la qualità delle materie prime, la modalità della preparazione, a dir poco eccellenti. Proporzione qualità-prezzo è rara.

Ottimo ristorante per la qualità che offre e per la cordialità del padrone di casa. Veramente ottimi i prodotti e anche la gastronomia al banco. Uniche pecche sono le bottigliette si plastica monouso che vengono utilizzate e le panchine non proprio comode. Per il resto ottimo rapporto comodità prezzo.

Tutto veramente squisito, dai crostini di benvenuto alle dolcezze finali.
In base ai vostri gusti Maurizio saprà consigliarvi sul tipo di bistecca che più è di proprio gradimento, il quale con grande esperienza e passione vi aiuterà anche nel saper abbinare il vino giusto.
Ragazze dello staff precise simpatiche e puntuali su ogni richiesta.
Nota di merito anche alla carta vini: oltre alle più blasonate etichette, una bella ricerca di piccoli produttori artigiani locali!

Salumi,tartare e bistecche tutto eccezionale,chi vuole mangiare carne al top lo consiglio. È sia macelleria che ristorante per palati di carne fine.Andate e vi ricorderete del mio feedback.

Ho avuto il piacere di pranzare a Scalco Enogastronomia e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Ho iniziato con un antipasto di salumi e formaggi, che era davvero squisito, sono passato direttamente al secondo ho scelto una bistecca Fiorentina, che era tenera e succosa. Il dolce era una torta di mele con crema pasticcera, che era deliziosa.
Nel complesso, ho trovato Scalco Enogastronomia un ottimo ristorante, che offre un'esperienza culinaria di alto livello. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un posto dove gustare la cucina toscana in un ambiente elegante e raffinato.
