Antica Trattoria Delle Volte

We went on Saturday night. We had been turned away from 3 places before this as it was "Saturday night" so everywhere was "booked" (despite most restaurants looking half empty!), so we were getting annoyed. We saw this place and thought we may as well try. We were immediately greeted with a "prego" and were able to choose a table.

The food was of a good standard, and the house wine was cheap and decent. My partner is celiac, and the waitress spoke good English to understand this. The food came out in good time, and the space was very traditional. If we came back to Perugia we would come here again.

Fresh seafood pasta & grilled tuna steaks.

Me and my colleagues went to Perugia for business reasons. We went to this Trattoria every day. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The food was more than enough and the quality was excellent.

Delicious!! Outside and inside is lovely. Sort of less formal than a swanky place, but nicely presented. By a quaint set of stairs / alleyway. Near a bar where well-heeled professionals hang out.

Excellent staff, kind and interested in customers. Food good and good quality local produce. Reasonable menu and prices. Worth a visit anytime in Perugia.

In my two-weeks wonderful stay at Perugia the highlight of each evening was the dinner at the Antica trattoria delle volte! Speaking Italian, I even grew close with the couple who were the owners (and the cameriere Jurgen ;-) ), who surprised my collegues and me each evening with a different, delicious meal! THANK YOU!

Great food and friendly service

Went at this restaurant twice in a row, never disappointed. The branzino and tonno were superb.

Pasta is extraordinary! Cannoli is so fresh, not too sweet and the tiramisu is very well balanced!

In pieno centro storico, a piazza Mateotti un ristorante tranquillo, con pochi coperti e con ottimo personale di sala. Posto ben curato. Piatti a base di pesce, spaghetti alle vongole e paccheri tonno e melanzane, buoni e cucinati benissimo. I dolci, tiramisù al limoncello ottimo e cannolo siciliano sublime. Ottimo servizio e porzioni abbondanti a prezzi onesti.
Da provare assolutamente e da ritornarci! Consigliatissimo

Il mio ristorante preferito a Perugia. Locale semplice e intimo in pieno centro storico. Si mangia da Dio. Cucina tipica locale.

Squisito ristorante nel centro di Perugia. I piatti sono estremamente curati; si nota che sono fatti in casa, con passione, e che questo non è il classico locale acchiappa turisti. Il ristorante offre i piatti caratteristici del luogo, come gli umbricelli (altamente consigliati quelli al tartufo nero e quelli "delle Volte"). Abbiamo preso anche una Scamorza al Coccio, ovvero una calda scamorza con prosciutto crudo locale sdraiati su una fetta di pane, veramente ottima. Il filetto al pepe verde è stato uno dei migliori filetti che abbiamo mai assaggiato: morbido, tenero, perfettamente cotto e gustoso. Infine, nota di pregio va anche ai dolci, fatti in casa sul momento: il tiramisù che abbiamo preso era appena fatto, veramente buonissimo. Molto gentile anche il personale, sia quello che serve ai tavoli, sia quello alla cassa.

In una cornice curata ein un ambiente accogliente e pulito, ci si sente subito a proprio agioe i benvenuti.
Il cibo fresco,ricco e con ampia scelta tra mare e terra.
Sapori mai banali ma genuini.
Ci senti il gusto di Perugia e della Sicilia. Meglio di cosi!
Ittimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
