AMAZING FOOD.
Too bad I had to go and couldn’t come back.
Everyone ordered pizza but we decided to try some local dishes- super good!

- Service was very kind. Spoke a lot of languages 😂

- the bread comes out of the oven 🤤

I was in Perugia for work and my hosts took me here. Incredible food, fantastic staff with a great sense of humor, fantastic service. I was treated to an excellent night here. Every bite of food was fantastic. Multiple courses. The wine was wonderful, and the home made amaro really set the night off. I was thankful my hosts were Italian, I am sure that didn’t hurt my fantastic experience.

I cannot wait to bring my wife here when I come back to Perugia for fun!

Amazing food! We came here two times, once for lunch and one more time for dinner. both times we were not disappointed the food is very tasty, the service is fast and the dessert was flavorful. the staff was very nice.

I came across Al Mangiar Bene completely accidentally but I couldn’t got any better! First of all.. food - amazing! Next… staff - everyone was so nice! I love it ♥ and prices quite afordable 😊👍🏻

We had a lovely family lunch under the vaulted ceiling of this hidden gem just off the main square. The underground location gave respite from the heat of the day. Our kids loved the wild boar ragu and we enjoyed the sharing platter. Highly recommended.

Truly exceptional. Beautiful old Etruscan building, very cool and refreshing inside. The rigatoni a la nocina was unctuous, rich and had a deep flavor of mushroom and sausage. The eggplant parm was perhaps the best I’ve ever had; heavy on the Parmesan flavor and not as much on the mozzarella. You could really taste the eggplant. The farro salad was light and a needed veggie! The pannacotta with caramel was sensational. Whoever is the chef cooks with soul. You can taste it and feel. Unpretentious and homely. The kind of cooking and experience I truly adore. Bravo!!!

We ate here for 2 nights on recent trip, great place with friendly staff and very good food. We were lucky to get a table on the second night so probably best to reserve.

We’ve been back here a number of times. Would unreservedly recommend. Has some delicious dishes some of which are quite rare. And an amazing Beer list! Wholeheartedly recommend.

Very nice restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I especially recommend the pasta in creamy, sausage and truffle sauce - I have forgotten the name but it is traditional in the region! The food was very good value.

Al Mangiar Bene is one of the best restaurant I've tried in Perugia. I got it recommend by a local and it is certainly a local restaurant. The food is classical Italian and it is very good. The setting is fantastic, sitting under the big stone arches. Surprisingly it is not very expensive. I can highly recommend this restaurant to others visiting Perugia!

Traditional Italian tavern with traditional pasta and pizza. They have also local mushrooms porcini, and truffles. Good wine at a reasonable price. Better to make a reservation for dinner.

Top restaurant in Perugia! Amazing food and dessert.

We loved it! The pizza is delicious, airy and full of flavour, I could not stop until finished.
Make sure to go in a bit earlier than 19:30 if you wish to find a table (unless you have a reservation).

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. The staff was very nice and polite, the food was amazing and so was the wine. There could've been some background music, but otherwise it is a really cool place. Thank you!

One of my favorite places in the city! Everything is delicious, we went a couple of times during our vacation. The pizza with truffles is a must!

After failing in a lot of places in Italy (bad luck I guess), finally found a very good place to eat, everything we ate was good and tasty.

Amazing restaurant with really good homemade bread and the best Pasta Norcina I've had. Recommend!
