Hotel Mary

Hotel Mary is a beautiful boutique hotel located minutes away from the square of Vico Equense. Everyone from the concierge desk to the dining service was so welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were quaint and extremely comfortable. Our waterview room overlooked the mountains and the small town. To wake up to the view that I had was just breathtaking. Cool and crisp mornings and sunny afternoons provided our room temperature room with just enough comfort. In the evenings, we were able to sleep with the door opened which provided beautiful cool nights of local melodic sounds from the town and nearby sounds of nature. The only thing that I will mention that I wasn’t prepared for was that our room did not have an iron. I didn’t ask the front desk for one so it wasn’t that important to me. My overall experience was 5+ star because for 7 days, the service was consistent and simply wonderful!

Absolutely greatest value when visiting Sorrento area! Small town near by. Breathtaking views of Vesuvius. Updated common areas and large rooms with balconies. Excellent breakfast and service. 20 min away from Sorrento city center, but quality of hotel worth a trade in.
Finally great rate off season! About $80 a night with breakfast- Americans would believe it!!!

Beautiful views, rooms are modern and spacious. Excellent staff; very courteous and friendly. They always greet you with a warm smile.

Our family of four had a lovely stay at Hotel Mary. We had an amazing view of the gulf of Naples from our room and from the hotel terrace. The pool area was beautiful and the sea club was a nice way to lounge close to the water. The restaurant was great for dinner and the breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel. The hotel decor is simple but elegant and everything was very clean. All the staff were very professional and helpful. We would love to go back!

My family of 3 adults stayed at Hotel Mary for 2 nights in early Janiary 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic views of the sea and cliffside. The triple room had a spacious bacony amd was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. The staff were all friendly and attentive and the buffet breakfast was delicious and had a big variety of foods. The town is gorgeous with great reataurants and the hotel is a very walkable distance to everything in town, including a 12-15 minute walk to the train/bus station so a car isn't really necessary, but the inclusive valet parking offered by the hotel with our reservation was a very nice perk. We really enjoyed walking, eating and exploring the beautiful town and surrounding sites including Pompeii on our visit and we would recommend Hotel Mary to our family and friends.

Amazing hotel...we had a room that opened onto the pool so every morning we were greeted with a breathtaking view. The shuttle service to the sea club was easy and efficient. The sea club itself was fabulous...spotless and the staff there could not do enough to help...the sea was crystal clear too. The hotel is a five minute walk into the little town which has enough beautiful restaurants so there is always a new place to eat and the ice cream parlour always had a queue for a reason. The hotel staff were great, very friendly and helpful, again the bar staff were superb. The meal we had in the hotel was amazing, the smoked swordfish is one of the best meals I've had. The hotel was spotless..we will be back!

The hotel itself is situated in a really peaceful yet scenic place. It has a spa that includes an indoor swimming pool and several treatments that you can find on their website. It is separate from the hotel, but it's easy to pay as it gets added to your hotel bill, which you'll pay at the end of the stay. There's an outdoor pool as well and the restaurant is good too. My breakfast which was included was really filling. A variety of eggs (boiled, scrambled), cheese, muffins, croissants, juices, tea, and coffee and several more food options. The place around the hotel is very beautiful ( sea view). Thr hotel is about 12 mins from the train station. Really accessible transport. Chilled places to eat from titos and terramia are really close.

The hotel was recently remodeled, it is beautiful and well take care of. Very positive experience both for the price, seevice and location. Would definitly recommend this hotel, especially the sea view rooms onthe higher floors.
The only downside is the acoustic insulation in the rooms which can get annoying.
Valet parking is included.

What I like most about this hotel is the location in this small town, vico Equense, in the middle of the sorrental coast between Naples and Sorrento. You can visit all surrounding towns easily.
For the food they have a very good through food there worth every penny. Prices are reasonable.
For the services all the staff are so kind and helpful.
Overall price is worthy

My husband and I were here for a week this month and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff is professional and caring. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The spa services were a welcomed break from seeing the sights and the food at the ristorante was top shelf! Definitely recommend this place for a pleasing getaway ◇

Loved the hotel. Restaurant was good too. Comfortable stay, staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Comfortable distance from Amalfi and all other touristy area.

Absolutely amazing hotel. The view was spectacular - massive rooms. Beautiful infinity pool. Only thing missing is a fitness center.
Also, being on the edge of Vico Equense it’s a little isolated and we had to take the train to either Sorrento or Naples (taxis were extremely expensive). Still a 5/5 overall.

We really were so happy we stayed at Hotel Mary. Very clean, perfect location, with beautiful views. Every single person we came in contact with was professional and knowledgeable. The front desk always had great info for us, how to get the train, reservations for a restaurant and where to do laundry. Our room was spacious, clean, I am very picky about this. The breakfast was plentiful. We ate in the restaurant several times, lunch and dinner, the food is very good, the Chef really is an artist. We took the train daily (about 11 minute walk) to different areas to sightsee, but when we stepped off the train were immediately relaxed going through the beautiful town of Vico Equense, and then walking through the doors of Hotel Mary. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The weather didn’t cooperate (April) but if it had been sunny at all we could have sat on the balcony for hours. The restaurant was a little too limited for us as we don’t like seafood but we almost stayed for the view anyways. Wonderful breakfast. Nice people. Loved the town. Very clean.

We had the best two nights stay in this hotel during our trip to Sorrento, Italy. The location of the hotel is its biggest selling point. Not just the stunning views from the rooms but also close proximity to the main square and circumvesuviana train station is a huge plus. We were 10 mins walk from both. We also got to the Seiano port using the stairs to take the Caprisun boat in 15 mins. The hotel staff is very helpful, accommodating and welcoming. The food served in the restaurant is great and the breakfast spread is very very good! Checkout videos. Thee best egg scramble that I ate in Italy. We did not use the spa so can’t comment on that. The pool area is beautiful . The rooms have amazing views and decent size for a family of 4. Overall the hotel is new and furnitures and fittings are updated. Me being from US , I loved the service and food compared to what we get here at this price point.

This hotel has restored my faith in the word “hospitality”. I’d like to start by giving a very special thank you to Aleesia, who was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Upon check in, she gave us a small tour of the hotel and gave wonderful recommendations for food, drink and excursions (if we were interested). All of the staff at Hotel Mary are more than willing to help with anything to make your stay more comfortable. The hotel itself is the most breathtaking hotel I have personally ever stayed. It has a stunning view of the ocean from the breakfast terrace and a wonderful infinity pool with unbelievable views. The hotel is very clean and the cleaners worked diligently, our room was turned down for us every day and towels and toiletries replenished. As a Canadian visiting the hotel, the AC works extremely well in the rooms- much to our relief with 40 degree weather. The breakfast was quite plentiful compared to other hotels we stayed at in Italy, even picky eaters can find something. All in all, we give nothing but our glowing recommendation and gratitude to the staff at Hotel Mary! We hope we are fortunate enough to return one day. Our very best, Victoria and Kyle

We felt so at home here, we extended our stay 2 extra days. Very kind and professional reception staff, excellent breakfast, good evening bar, valet service for your car, lovely rooms, comfy beds, a good shower and good toiletries. The only downside is the people in the room next to us were soo loud and noisy, they woke us up in the morning and kept us up at night. Not the hotel’s fault of course, but super annoying.

Come in June! Wonderful, friendly staff that were attentive and helpful. Very easy to get to Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, Positano. Gorgeous infinity pool with breathtaking view. There’s a shuttle to take you down to the sea with a private sea club that serves drinks and lunch. Vico Equense itself is a quintessential Italian town- lots of local artisans, and the freshest seafood there is. It’s close to the regional train and ferries. 100/100 recommend.

Great hotel. Good value for money. Extremely friendly staff. Great sea view from the hotel room. Perfect location to explore Sorrentine Peninsula and Amalficoast. Excellent breakfast (even champagne 😉)
