Hotel Villa Giulia - Ristorante Al Terrazzo

We did not stay in the hotel but had diner in the restaurant. The restaurant was AMAZING, like really really good. Traditional food with a modern twist. The chef must have a true passion for great food because it transpired in every dish. We are rearranging our trip so we can come back. The service was impeccable too, but the food uhh. Soo good. I don't work for Michelin but I would put them in my guide!

This is a beautiful, classic hotel with nice rooms and lovely views of the lake. The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

The highlight of this hotel is the restaurant! We had an exceptional meal that really exceeded all of our expectations and was in such a unique setting. Creative, delicious dishes that were some of the best we have eaten in a long time! The 'aperol' risotto was so good. Also the apricot/rosemary dessert was incredible!

Thank you to the wonderful at Hotel Villa Giulia. I hope we will be back soon.

We loved everything about this place - the spectacular view from the balcony, delicious breakfast, spotless clean rooms and of course super friendly staff who made us feel like at home. I couldn't imagine better stay around Lake Como :) We also went for a dinner to hotel's restaurant and it was so worth it. Will be happy to visit again in the future!

We did not stay with the hotel, but we had a nice lunch on their terrace, and it was amazing. From the sounds of the cicadas to the nice wind that kame from the lake and cooled us down it was amazing. And the food was simply delicious.

We visited as guests in a wedding. Delicious meals, a magical view of mountain lakes you only see in fairly tales, from the ample terraces and the dining hall alike. And the best part is: most friendly service ever. Me and my spouse are vegan, and we have been served a vegan counterpart of _every_ _single_ food offered at the event, from the starting reception to the final cake. Everything was absolutely delicious. This means competence, professionality, and some serious skill in the kitchens, and an absolute determination by the establishment to make every guest feel welcome. The wedding party was an absolute success. A+++, will visit again, and will organize events at this wonderful place if we get the chance.

Villa Giulia is a special place. The dining room and outdoor terrace have a spectacular view and the staff is friendly and discreet. The food is top quality and the rooms were nicely furnished and quiet. The city of Lecco is very close, it's best to have a car to explore the area. There is boat rental place nearby, but we were there off-season and it was not operational. I can't say there was anything negative, only to take note that our suite was on the 3rd floor, and there is no elevator. You must go up steps to enter to reception area, rooms and restaurant. The curtains could have been a bit heavier to block out the morning light but all in all, we had a wonderful stay.

Best food I had on Lake Como. Spectacular!!! The service and the attention given to the guests is exceptional.

What an amazing Restaurant, nice view of the Lake, very warm welcome, kind staff which makes you feels relaxing, excellent food. Of course a bit expensive, but it is worth every single cent. I will be back for sure. the food is delicious and the wine list is very good with really nice local wines.

We went off season and it couldn't have been better, our room was right on the water with a huge balcony to rest and enjoy the view of the lake. (Note to the owners) the first room we went to could definitely use some updating. Nonetheless this place gets five stars, we sat in the amazing dining room with super friendly hosts giving us ideas of things to do, great wine choices and food. Would highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting. The owners truly made us feel at home.

Went to a wedding here and stayed for a night. The rooms are spacious and have lovely views. The dining area has amazing views as well. The breakfast is good and has a variety of foods to select. We had a very nice stay.
