La Fontana Bellagio

We went there as it was recommended by many people. There is a fountain in front of the restaurant. There is places outside and inside. It was almost full in and out. But we were lucky to have a table.
The food is delicious. The pizza is homemade, fresh and tasty.
It was so hot. There is not AC. There was one server to all the restaurant so he was so busy.
We waited a little for the food. So consider little time when there especially if you want to take after the fairy.

We asked the chef for vegan pasta options and they made us this amazing pesto fusilli and seitan tomato ragu. Was delicious and service was great.

My friend and I had lunch here at the weekend and the food was absolutely delicious. The wine they recommended was too! The restaurant had a real family run sort of feel to it, the staff were super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for having us!

Family really enjoyed the food. Lots of gluten free options, including pizza, pasta, and tiramisu. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I found the lunch to be a nice experience overall. We got there without reservation and it was full, as you expect. It didn't took long for us to get a table and to get our requests answered.
The service was on point with us, delivering everything we asked very quickly & professionally.
The prices were bit too much for what we ate but I guess we have to pay the location, and I suppose that everywhere in Bellano prices will be a bit inflated.
The pizzas were delicious though, and that's what really matter to me.

Absolutely phenomenal place! Best place I have eaten in Italy so far. I came here with my friend who lives in Europe and she also had an amazing experience. The owner was so hospitable and polite. His recommendations were really wonderful.

I've been vegan for 13 years, and this restaurant served me, without exaggeration, the absolute best pasta dish I've ever had in their tagliatelle with porcini and truffle. I am researching how to expatriate from the US solely so I can have access to this dish any time I want.

Aside from that, a very charming location, excellent and attentive service, and reasonable prices given the location [paradise].

Amazing vegan alternatives. I had the fetuccini with porcino mushroom cream and truffles, and my boyfriend the vegan pasta bolognese which is made with seitan. It’s so refreshing to find good, well thought vegan options in Bellagio. If you are vegan, don’t hesitate: this is the place to go 🤍🤍🤍

Delicious pizzas and pastas, with large portions. You can customise your pasta and choose the type (spaghetti, penne, gnocchi) and sauce (eg Napoleon, arrabiatta, pesto, carbonara etc). Arrabiatta sauce packs a punch and is flavourful and actually quite spicy! Hosts were delightful in ordering and explaining, and also gives advice if it sounds like you’re ordering too much. We recommend a visit!

The best spaghetti al’arrabbiata I’ve ever had!! Lovely and spicy and the pasta tasted so fresh it must have been made from scratch that day. Soufflé for dessert was also amazing!! Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. If I’m ever back here I will definitely return!! The waiting staff were lovely too and it was amazingly cheap given the exceptional quality!! The best value for money.

Wow. Wow. Wow. 🗣 YOU MUST COME TO LA FONTANA. Amaaaaazing gluten free pasta matriciana (gluten free dairy free). Went with my family for dinner and returned for lunch the next day. Gluten free pizza and beer also available. And in the glutinous, dairy-full world, I mean LOOK at that pizza, lasagna, carbonara, and pesto! Out of this world reviews from my sister and dad who got those dishes. The appetizer of the Parma ham and melon was to die for with a mouth watering presentation. Very fair prices for food and drink. Great food at an even better cost!! The staff are lovely and friendly. They were so accommodating to my gluten free needs. Fab outdoor seating with areas in the sun and shade, which was just perfect for us. Please come. I will definitely return.

Great comfort food, with friendly staff and owners! We were lucky enough to chat with the owners (ironically the wife is Cuban like me!) who have a great story and you can feel the love the put into their food. The gnocchi were out of this world- cheesy, creamy, a true delight. ¡Gracias por tenernos y compartir tu comida con nosotros!

Mario's "La Fontana" was my first meal in Italy on a recent 3-week foodie trip. We warmly met him at the door around 7:30pm and asked if there was a table - we were sat right away (in early May). This place is a real treat! When I told Mario that this was my first meal in Italy, he said, "You're starting at the top!" And he wasn't wrong. This was one of my favorite evenings of the whole trip, and we ate a several Michelin-star establishments, including Massimo Bottura's Franceschetta58. The "Antipasto di mare" for 2 was divine. The risotto was the best I've ever had. The mixed fried plate ("Gran fritto") was exactly the kind of fresh delicious seafood I'd been craving. The dessert and wine were excellent. The olive oil and balsamic were mouth-watering, the best I'd ever had up to that point. With wine, antipasto, insalata, primi and secondi, and dessert, it ended up being around 45 Euros per person for us. Not bad for a 3 hour meal that was one of my favorites in foodie heaven!

In short: if you're looking for an excellent dinner in Bellagio, look no further than La Fontana! Plenty of tourists here, but I saw some locals, too, which is a good sign. Reservation recommended. Grazie mille Mario for such a lovely introduction to Italian cuisine!! I'll always treasure it.

We loved the food. This place is a charm. You know you’re in the right place when the place is full house though not on the Main Street or overseeing great view. Everyone is friendly. Simply awesome!

Amazing food. We ate here for lunch our first day in bellagio and loved it so much we made reservations for our last dinner. We had a 5 minute wait for our reservation so Owner gave us a free glass of wine "for our trouble". Wonderful people and wonderful food. Can't recommend enough

Simple, fresh, delicious food in a friendly and welcoming environment. Seafood plate was top-notch along with some very good gluten-free pasta options.

One of the best pastas I’ve ever had. I would STRONGLY recommend the Chef’s Special First Course - Scialatelli ai Frutti di Mare, if you ever decide to come here to eat. The seafood was very fresh and very very generous. I had like 6 prawns in my plate and the portion is quite large imo. The sauce is full of flavour, essentially like a seafood bisque! I could not get enough of it.

The Pistachio soufflé was prepared perfectly warm, crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside. The tiramisu was rich and creamy.

The owner was very warm and friendly and it felt very homely and welcoming. All the servers were excellent and very polite. Dining here was a great experience.

Will definitely come back here again if I ever come to Bellagio.

Amazing traditional Italian food. Fresh, good sized portions and not too expensive. The staff are the real highlight here, two brothers run the place and it shows that they really care. English spoken. Highly recommend.

If you are looking for great taste, while being ready to wait for a bit to get a table, then definitely choose La Fontana. The popularity of the restaurant and the queue for tables is purely because of the great taste. We had wonderful pasta and enjoyed their house wines. Nice indoor and outdoor seating options.

Lovely old school Italian-American-Italian owner, first hand management, old school 1-1 in every detail, delicious food, maybe a bit salty, pizza was great, even greater than Pizza Milano, sorry guys, soup was delicious, lasagna was also a bit on the salty side, reservation recommended, if not, expect waiting upto half an hour. Definitely recommended.
