La Buona Forchetta

One of the best foods in Sicilia. Even if it was first time I had all bunch of italian food in plastic dishes 😋, still a great place to go if you are in Messina.

Had the veggie pasta was super super delicious! Also had a veggie pizza which was yummy also.

Servers are really friendly. Very good value for money!

What an amazing little local family operated establishment for a quick bite. Very friendly and exceptionally helpful by all staff. Food was fresh and flavorful. A true hidden gem close to the port.

Great find and excellent service.
My wife and I (from Sydney Australia) happened upon this gem of a place and were greatly impressed with service and variety of food. We had a fried vegetable calzone which was absolutely amazing, as was our takeaway toasted sandwich. The staff were fantastic, especially the lovely man that served us. It's a shame we are not here long enough to go back.

Amazing food for excellent price and big quantity.
Staff is very lovely and helped us to understand Messina’s parking system (you need to buy the small tickets). Highly recommending for a good snack.

What an amazing experience. There we were looking for a quick lunch (and a toilet) and we happened on this place. The proprietor innediatrly offers us "strangers" some samples of his fare and asks whet we like. We said "Pizza and vino bianco" and it appears along with a large beer, some red wine & a panini. When it came to paying "€23.00" was all they would take. Totally the best quality/value food proposituon in Sicily. Fabulous staff, great ambiance. So what if you have to stand!!!
