Sunset Hotel

Plusses: It's a beautiful new hotel right by the beach. The staff is very attentive. The breakfast is nice, they have good coffee and many kinds of fresh pastries, both sweet and salty. The rooftop has a great view and an infinity pool. The water pressure in the showers is excellent, the beds are comfy and the hotel is very clean. In the evenings there is live piano music. There's only a short walk to many restaurants, bars and shops, and you can walk by the seaside, where it's very beautiful. The area is safe, there's a lot of families walking around even at night.

Minuses: There is often loud music played at nighttime in the neighborhood, and you can definitely hear it inside the rooms. If you are a light sleeper, this could be a problem. The rooms lack a full body mirror.

Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

What a wonderful find!! Clean, new, modern, stylish and a wonderfully accommodating staff. This is exactly the property that we look for when traveling, one that is well appointed and genuinely cares about hospitality and the needs of their guests. We love the location directly across from the beach, with their own private chairs and towels. Add a roof top infinity pool with sunset and historic town views and you have a winning formula. We had an enjoyable breakfast in the morning and cocktails by the pool before and at sunset. We walked along the sea wall to the town center for dinner at a restaurant recommended by the concierge. All the staff are friendly and patient with those of us who do not speak Italian. And little did we know this is where the beach scenes for "White Lotus" were filmed.

My initial response to the Sunset was not great. The area is fairly grungy and a long way from the town centre plus the room was pretty small. By the time we left we loved it!
We visited the town centre by cab which was much more relaxing. We had spent a lot of time in town centres and a change was welcome.
The room was big enough. The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. The staff were delightful. The sunset bar on the roof was so nice.

I would really recommend this hotel. The rooftop infinity pool and the rooftop bar is quite good and the staff was very friendly and kind. The sunset is very beautiful from the rooftop.

Easy to access to cefalu, only 10 mins walk, we walked every night into cefalu to eat something in a good restaurant and that 10 mins walk helped to digest the food as we eat so much pasta :)

The breakfast was italian, so croissant and other cookies and fruits, which is ok I think, that's how italian breakfast looks like.

The vibe around the hotel is very good, I mean it's not that too many people around like nearby or inside cefalu, but there's club nearby that could be noisy for people how want calm, but we are a young couple so we absolutely enjoyed the bars and the club around the hotel.

I have only one negative:
There was a private pool on the room's balcony, but it was very cold, so basically that was unusable, that killed the romantic vibe of the pool..

I really satisfied in this hotel

I went in September on holiday with my mum (we are both from Sicily but I live in London) and discovered this gem in Cefalù.

I spent many many years in Cefalù but I never find such a beautiful hotel.

Starting with the location, that overall is always one of the main reason to choose or not one place where to stay. Cefalù is a small town, where you can just walk from top to toe the full area. This is why sometimes in other hotels it might be a bit noisy even during the night time. The Sunset hotel is in the seafront away from the noise and the crowd but still few minutes walking from the centre.

The sea is just across the street, it takes no more than 2 minutes from your room to touch the sand with your feet, and believe me Cefalù is one of the best seafront in Sicily.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, the room was so clean and tidy.

Beautiful rooms for couples, even with private balcony pool, very intimate and discreet. I would say is a perfect hotel to spent time with your partner between the sea and the sky.

But there is one thing that actually catches my heart and that is the only one in Cefalù: is the sky pool. Immagine being in a pool and you have the mountains, the sea and the city view under a beautiful blue sky.

Absolutely stunning.

Sunset hotel is absolutely beautiful. We were greeted by Rosa at the front desk, she was lovely and very helpful. Rosa made us feel extremely welcomed. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely stay with really considerate and thoughtful service from the team. They basically got up at like 6am and specially made us a breakfast for an early checkout - it was really considerate and above and beyond expectations.

First time in Cefalu! The staff was absolutely incredible, so welcoming and accommodating! The rooms were very clean and just as shown online. When in cefalu, this will be the only place I stay! Cheers from Chicago!

We spent 5 days in the hotel,and everything was perfect.The hotel is very modern, super clean and the location is one of the best in Cefalu.The breakfast was variable and delicious.The staff is super friendly and helpful.We will return for sure!

Hotel 4 stelle direttamente sul mare accogliente, pulito e raffinato.Camere vista mare con arredamento nuovo e scelto con gusto.Spettacolare panorama mozzafiato dalla terrazza arredata sul tetto con affascinante piscina a sfioro.Colazione buona e varia servita all'aperto e di pomeriggio possibilità di aperitivo con piccolo buffet servito in giardino accompagnato dalla rilassante musica del bravo pianista dell'hotel. Garage gratuito per l'auto, personale disponibile e cortese. È stato un week end veramente rilassante ed emozionante. Consiglio vivamente.

Super hotel avec une chambre très bien, moderne, fonctionnelle. Un balcon vue sur mer et sans parler de son rooftop avec une piscine à débordement et quelle vue, juste incroyable. Personnel agréable et disponible. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Je recommande.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui due notti.
Partiamo dalla terrazza con ristorante e piscina che affaccia sul mare. Una cosa meravigliosa. Pulita e ordinata con un servizio d'eccellenza e un grande merito va dato ad Elio. La camera era pulita e dotata di ogni comfort compresa la jacuzzi sul balcone. Unica leggera pecca è che forse era un pochino piccola. Abbiamo mangiato in Hotel e davvero sembrava un ristorante promosso a pieni voti , se soggiornate qui mangiateci anche i prezzi sono davvero onesti e giusti. La posizione direi ottima, sul lungomare, a 1 passo anche mezzo dal mare e a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese che merita una visita. Il parcheggio coperto è garantito, la colazione ottima e lo staff veramente cortese e preparato. Il mare è degno di nota. Complimenti.

Se si vuole trascorrere una vacanza a cinque stelle a Cefalù, bisogna recarsi al Sunset hotel. E posso garantirvi che farà la differenza: hotel posizionato strategicamente sul lungomare di Cefalù a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro e soprattutto fronte mare, basta attraversare la strada per usufruire della tranquilla spiaggia privata. Che dire delle camere! pulitissime e funzionali. La colazione ottima, con ampia scelta fra dolce e salato, è possibile gustarla nello spazio esterno, su un prato, all’ombra! Ma ciliegina sulla torta è la Infinity Pool, fantastica piscina sul tetto dell’hotel dal quale si può ammirare uno scenario da cartolina: una fantastica Cefalù. In total relax si possano apprezzare dei tramonti da urlo in compagnia di un aperitivo con sottofondo musicale del pianista Marco. Il pomeriggio trascorso nella Infinity Pool ha fatto la differenza nella nostra vacanza. Un ringraziamento va al personale che è stato molto gentile e attento a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta e soprattutto al proprietario dell’albergo il signor Alberto che è stato cordiale disponibile, molto gentile e persona dedita all’accoglienza!!! Dimenticavo…..anche il garage, sotterraneo che vi consentirà alla partenza di trovare la macchina fresca.
In questo hotel non manca proprio niente!!!
