Villa Daniela Grossi - Wedding venue in Tuscany

Just finished a week stay at Villa Daniela Grossi and I'm so happy our family (and extended family) chose to stay here. The grounds were beautiful, the furnishings lovely, the beds were comfortable and most importantly the host and staff were amazing! I have never experienced such kind and caring staff who go above and beyond to assist their guests and add those little extra touches to make your stay special. Many thanks to our host, Daniela, our chef Andre (not sure on spelling) and the most incredible Benedetta!

We just returned from a wonderful wedding week at Villa Daniela Grossi, and I have to comment about what a magical, beautiful wedding and week we had. Being from MN (USA), we took a leap of faith by booking this venue sight unseen for 36 people. I must say it was the absolute best choice and decision we made. The accommodations are second to none: there is attention to every detail from slippers, robes, comfortable beds and bedding. The employees (our new friends) reflect the owner, Daniela. They are warm, hardworking, and very "can do". They never told us, "no". They went above and beyond: they arranged for transportation for outings and they contracted for a special wedding cake. They were always available to help. Then there is the wedding: They act as your perfect party planner. They brought in all top rate vendors for makeup, photography, and flowers. I could never have chosen better. The spaces are all beautiful for an elegant wedding: a covered area for a cocktail hour, a beautiful outdoor garden for the ceremony, a covered area for the actual reception, and a magical tree-covered, lighted canopy for the table, wedding dinner. And, the food! I cannot explain the care that is put into the food: the breakfasts are plentiful and the wedding dinner was food you would have at an excellent restaurant (thank you to Andrea!). As the MOB, this was the most joyful wedding to plan. I cannot thank the entire staff enough. We will never forget you! XO

Rented this villa for a week in August for a family of 13 adults and 9 children. We all fit comfortably and were well taken care of by staff and owner. The property is awesome, with a great pool, outdoor shower, ping pong table, many outdoor gathering places, mosquito zappers (thank you), keyboard, foosball, gardens, fountain, and professional kitchen. Breakfast was a daily delight, with baked goods, eggs, coffee and tea.

Very close drive to Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre, and even to Florence (The Mall). Would recommend to any large group looking to enjoy the countryside! Thank you Daniela and team!

We wanted to send you a note saying thank you and WOW. We can’t thank you enough or reiterate enough how amazing our wedding day and wedding weekend
was. It was absolutely beautiful. It was perfection. The Villa, the FOOD, the hospitality, the fireworks, the lemons, the roses, the light tunnel, the table, the flowers, the sax…we could go on!!! It felt like anything we asked or wished for was made possible.

Our friends and family were also equally amazed how beautiful everything was and what a special weekend was had by all. Everyone is still talking about it.

We are so happy we chose Villa Daniela and we shared our special day with you.

I stayed here with a group of 19 women on a yoga retreat and it was a truly amazing experience! The location was beautiful, the rooms and suites were perfectly appointed, and the food was delicious. The entire staff was so helpful with our of our needs and treated us like family. They really went the extra mile to make sure our stay was perfect!

This Villa is more beautiful than the pictures will ever make you think. We kept saying "we feel like we are on a movie set". We had 19 people there for a 60th birthday and reunion. The indoor areas are comfortable and large enough for 20 people, with a great kitchen. The elevator made a big difference for some of us who have mobility issues. There are many types of bedrooms so you can accommodate those who need a walk in shower and those who can do steps. The rooms are a really nice size and many have two bathrooms. The air conditioning works well, but is expensive. We were there during the hottest summer in 100 years. But the outdoor areas are even a bigger draw. There are great covered areas to eat, many seating areas to just hang out, a wonderful swimming pool, beautiful gardens with a great fountain, a bathroom outdoors near the pool, a laundry room, a foosball table and ping pong table outdoors. The real wonder of this Villa is the people who own it and those that work there. The owners are wonderful, generous people who made us feel part of the family. They restored the church attached to the Villa and invited us to the reopening of the church. It was wonderful. They also had us all (19) to their part of the Villa and had cocktails. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The chef and his wife were the stars of the show though. Valentino and Larissa made and served the most delicious meals that we had in Italy. They are marvelous. Their cooking class was really special too. This Villa is about 9 km from Lucca. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to Lucca depending on traffic. There is an Esselunga supermarket (nice market) and a Carrefour supermarket (like Walmart) between Lucca and the Villa. There is a small market near the Villa. There is one pizzeria within walking distance. It is a lovely area. Our week at the Villa was magical and we will never forget it. I would highly recommend this Villa.

I booked the villa for a long weekend for a work conference. From start to finish the service was exceptional. Daniela and her team were incredibly hospitable and the villa itself is beautiful and set in a stunning location. I would rate the whole experience 5 stars and would go back in a heartbeat if i could.

Our stay for the yoga retreat was wonderful, the meals were delicious and we were made to feel at home. Beautiful!

Bellissima location per cerimonie. (C'è anche la chiesa) Ci si può anche pernottare. Bel giardino e piscina!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Vom ersten Augenblick an hat uns das gesamte Team sehr gastfreundlich empfangen und hat uns geholfen wo es nur ging. Alles wurde möglich gemacht. Wir können die Villa Daniela nur empfehlen und würden jederzeit liebend gerne wieder dort bleiben. Vielen Dank für alles!
