Really good hotel with excellent food and staff!
All of dishes was an extraordinary mouth-melting experience of Toscany, also huge plus for gluten free options - for gluten intolerance really useful.
Staff always helpful and kind, Amina and Matteo were really thoughtful, helpful and so friendly, as well as all the rest of the staff which names we don't know. We recommend it so much and hope to see you soon! ☺

Family fun. Can be used as day guest for the pool. 10 euros per adult 7 for children. 5 euros if you want a sun lounger and umbrella. Also if you go there only in tur afternoon, it is a set price of 7 euros for all age group. To use the pool from 3pm to 7pm. Which is the time is closes. The pool is clean and their is a driving board. Tue pool is monitored and cared for by life guards who take great care of the children and are always vigilant, but not overbearing. It's a good pool. Plenty of free parking. And with your entry you can collect when you finish a token inclusive of you entry ticket to use a hot shower inside. Their is a bar /coffee shop that sells reasonably priced food and drinks, and a selections of sweets and treats that kids like, as well as healthy and fruit options. I highly recommend. Open only during summer season. Closes 1 October.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The staff are great, food is good and rooms are spacious. If you have a balcony, it's more of a back yard it's so big.

I have seen a couple of negative comments regarding location and pool cleanliness. Well, there is a clue in the name, Country Hotel so it is a little way from town but Lucca is only 15 minutes by car and worth it. The pool is clean, you may get the odd pics of floating grass but if people was there feet first, they can keep on top of it. The lifeguards are constantly netting the pool but it's huge so takes time.

I recommend this hotel.

This property was part of a series of hotels we stayed during our 14 day Europe tour. We came here on day 10 of the tour.

On this day, after a long drive , we were greeted by a pleasant, courteous and sweet hostess Veronica who really went out of the way to make us comfortable. She is the perfect ambassador for a upscale property like This one.

The pool side is where we had dinner and it was super awesome ambience. Rooms were well appointed , and had ample space and our room had the amazing view in the morning that I took a few clicks of ! Can't beat that !! The showers are a little cramped (or Europeanized) and might be a little difficult if you're on the bulkier side like me :-) .

Next day, at breakfast as well, Sandra was the host at the breakfast and was super helpful and got us all the good food we needed.

We surely will be back here for a the great ambience and the amazing service and staff.

Good choice if you want to travel around the Tuscany. Great place, kind staff, delicious local food, many option to choice on breakfast( gluten free, Vege, fresh juices ).

Great, super nice and helpful staff (special greetings and thanks for Amina and Matteo!), delicious food at the restaurant in occasional prices and covenient rooms with all most important equipment, beautiful quiet place in the heart of Tuscany :) highly reccomend!

Great place . It deserves 4 stars . Beautiful swimming pool and good place. Place is clean and I love when it is tidy. Staff is friendly . Carmine is a great director that is why this hotel is great. He keeps everything great. He is a good person.

Very clean and the staff is very friendly and there to helping you, front desk very professional and accommodate. To recommend for trip in Toscany near Lucca. And if you have the car to drive Florence in 45 minutes away.

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo partiti giusto questa mattina, dopo aver soggiornato per il Lucca Comics. La struttura all’esterno è un po’ datata, ma devo dire che entrambi siamo stati super soddisfatti! Camere spaziose, pulite e confortevoli, colazione di tutto rispetto compresi i super cappuccini della barista, personale cordiale, gentile e disponibile. Ottima anche la posizione! Insomma, non serve un albergo extralusso per stare bene, ci siamo sentiti a casa. Grazie di cuore
