Bar Calise

Went only for the aperitivo and I love it! Definetly the best aperol spritz I had on the island accompanied by some finger food and the typical chips&nuts (included in the 10€ you pay for the drink).
The deco brings you back to the fabulous Italy of the 1960s. Wonderful!!
There are many sweet and salty options available at the counter both to dine in or take out!
Can't wait to be back!

Great place! They made the tomato spaghetti for me in a vegetarian form and it was delicious. I also had a tiramisu which was excellent too. The waiter was kind and gave me a free entree and digestive too. He was very attentive and quick to help.

Recommend! Only a shame it was pretty quiet when I visited.

They have free wifi for guests. Also there is a large bar. There is lots of parking area.

Great place for morning cafe and pastry. Classic in style, plenty of seating in a beautiful setting. Sit outside for a serviced table and inside self service. Amazing quality for a reasonable price

Oh what a gem of a place, food is more lunch deli than normal meals served elsewhere though each item is delicious, cocktails came with a plater of complimentary snacks, service was friendly and made sure we knew exactly what we were ordering and included recommendations,

Even if the choice was not as large as in the summer, food is good, lovely place and you need to try the “lingua di procida”. My favorite discovery of the day :)

We offered aperol spritz and ischia spritz in the bar. 10 euros for each which is not cheap but it was really good and we got unexpected plate with some fresh snacks/bites which was really great.

I would highly recommend if you are in the area of Bar Calise.

If you are in Ischia and you don't have at least a couple of breakfasts at Calise, you might as well throw yourself from the ferry straight into the sea on your way back home. Think about it...

Magical atmosphere - worth it for the setting alone. Feels like going back in time. Nice light food selection and really generous snacks accompany the drinks (if we had known how many snacks we would get, we would've ordered way less food). Only complaint would be the overly persistent pigeons who seemed to want to steal from our table but sadly they claimed not to be employed by the establishment so 🤷‍♀

What a beautiful place! We only stayed for breakfast but I would love to come back during our next vacation hopefully. Variety of pastries, fruits, choice of coffee... I loved outside seating, very green garden, best experience.

Beautiful retro decor and ambient with all the greenery. We had desserts and drinks, both very good. Staff was super nice and friendly. Very lovely place and great atmosphere.

Great place to go for lunch! Pizza was really good, service was awesome, and the house white wine was surprisingly good. Can't ask for more along with a really interesting building nestled in the trees by the park.
