Amazing place, food was beautiful, they were not shy with their Truffle! The setting was not ostentatious but beautifully understated & warm. The service was not overbearing, but they were always nearby to cater to your needs. Overall, it was warm & friendly with great food.

The pici pasta was so good we visited two nights in a row. Their speciality is the giant Raviolo (order with the sage butter) but ask for the housemade pasta of the day too. Service is very friendly and attentive. Will recommend to anyone visiting this area of Tuscany.

Absolutely outstanding food! We had the zucchini flowers starter and it was the best we had. Then also the pesto gnocchi or the meat tagliatelle are superb! They are true masters in spicing the dishes to perfection. Great service and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

My lord! The talent in this kitchen is unmatched. We ordered the special… a rabbit cooked with who knows what… and let me tell you. It was the best thing I have ever had. So delicious, I almost ordered a second! The polenta, the fried squash blossom, the ravioli and the Tuscan bean soup was fantastic!!! I cried when I saw the bill… so affordable!!! I almost want to stay an extra day so I can eat again at this incredible restaurant. But tomorrow we bike to Montepulciano. If you stop in Scansano… this place is a must… and please make reservations.

Great food, and great service!
The owner is very nice, made all sort of magic tricks and pranks for the kids, and gave them also a "children's coffee" to make them feel great. My kids lived the place, but also the pasta.
We've been there a second time, and would go again if we get in the area.
Certainly a place worth checking.

One of the best restaurants I have been to. Went for lunch with a friend and we were welcomed really nicely. Starters of fresh porcini mushrooms grilled with incredible olive oil. Salsiccia with truffle on top and fresh rocket. Main dishes even better and super good wine. Amazing place, we will be back!

What a discover! On our way back from Saturnia this place catch my attention (thanks to the high score on Google - well deserved by the way) and we decided to stop for dinner. The menu is so interesting, they offer some daily's but also regular dishes from the menu, for example their tortellone, a stuffed big tortello with your favourite sauce on top. I haven't personally tried it cause I got captured by some delicious pici with pumpkin, sausage and cheese sauce (omg!!!) but my parents did and it was great!
I would also suggest to try an amazing sausage with rocket and fresh truffles as starter!! And the ricotta cream for dessert with pistachio sauce is also sublime!
The staff did a great job, being very friendly with us and suggesting us some dishes to try (or their home made grappa!).
Overall it was the best conclusion of a nice weekend in Tuscany!
I highly recommend you to try this restaurant, it's worth it!!

Some of the best food we've had in Italy so far! We went here for a special occasion anniversary meal and it was everything we hoped for and more - no fuss, authentic Tuscan cooking. Not fancy, but very charming. Everything was phenomenal. It was all homemade and delicious. Highlights were the Picci Caccio e Peppe and the calf stew. The only thing we would have loved is softer lighting for better ambiance, but did not take away from our enjoyment. Such a little gem! A must go. Make sure you make a reservation.

Very delicious, authentic food that was served by very nice and professional people. We ate here two times during our stay in Scansano. They were also offering various dishes of the day that tasted excellent. Very much recommended!

A very nice restaurant in the city center of Scansano. Staff is very nice and polite and food is really good. House specialty is the big ravioli. They have different choice of pasta, meat and antipasti. All accompanied by a good Morellino wine. Desserts are all home made. The restaurant was recommended to us by local people.

Scansano is a lovely place in the hearth of Maremma ., most famouse at place of morellino di Scansano , one of the most knewed and tasted wine of the region . The restaurant il Rifrullo is a perfect place to taste the kitchen of this region. Beautiful tortelloni , fagioli all'uccelletto , tagluata al tartufo and great vino della casa. We loved the place and the hosting.

Charming rustic character of this osteria is surpassed by the food. From traditional rustic fare to elevated favourites there’s something for everyone. Service was efficient in a great welcoming environment.

Lovely little Osteria. Very popular. Opened for lunch and was full in 10mins. On the road to Saturnia. Menu of usual Tuscany dishes with some seasonal specials. A mega tortellini with boar ragu, for example. The house wine was lovely too, but being Scansano, you can get the local morellino too.

We went for dinner last night. It was really good. It deserves its score on Google. We hope to go back over the next few days and try other things from the menu. We both had boar yesterday..me with paparadelle and he with white beans with rosemary.
