Wonderful Wine Tasting Experience at Podere 414

We had a fantastic afternoon at Podere 414! The staff was very welcoming and provided a delightful experience in the garden. The wines were exceptional, especially the reds. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area and looking for a memorable relaxed tasting.

We popped in (without reservation) to this lovely little winery on a very rainy cosey day in Tuscany. The owner greeted us in the driveway along with his gorgeous (& friendly) Mastif! We were able to try their wines and came away with six bottles at excellent value. I usually drink red but I’d highly recommend their white, a really delicious oaky flavour. This place is for those who prefer the more casual, low key experience rather than grand and showy.

A beautiful place to visit and taste some great local wine. Roberta hosted us for a tasting and gave us the Podere 414 story. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the region and the 414 wine. Thoroughly recommend a visit to Podere 414. Grazie Roberta.

We had a delightful wine tasting at Podere 414. We had called about 30 minutes in advance and Roberta agreed to stay a bit past closing for us which we really appreciated. She was extremely informative. At this time, they only had two red wines for tasting and we purchased a case of the Morellino di Scansano. We also asked her for her recommendations of other wineries to visit & she gave us two - both of which we visited. A lovely place to taste wine & great to be able to buy as well!

Podere 414 is the best. The owners, the employees and the wine...where to start? Its brilliant. And once you tasted the winw they provide you are in love. The red wines Morellino di Scansano and the Badilante are exquisite, and the white wine Costa Ovest IGT Toscana and the rose wine Flower Power keep the summervibes coming. Just love it! If you have to choose a winery to visit: this is the one. You will not regret it!

We didn’t book an appointment and didn’t call beforehand but they still welcomed us very nicely and told us about the history of the winery. We tasted some of their wines while sitting under the grape wines. The lady was very friendly!

Fantastic small passionated winemaker. The price quality is excellend and hard to beat. This is my favourite wine in the area so far. The owner takes his time for a nice tasting. The morrelino is excellent but he also has a very nice rosé and a very special oakey white one, very unique for this area.

La visita in cantina con la degustazione... Imperdibile!! Cantina immersa nella campagna maremmana, circondata dai propri vigneti, a due passi dalla città di Grosseto. Ambiente molto accogliente, silenzioso e ben curato nei minimi dettagli. La grande passione e l'alta competenza tecnica di Simone, il proprietario, si riflettono negli ottimi vini che produce. Il morellino è veramente eccellente. Il passito... Sfido a trovarne uno migliore di questo. Visitare la cantina e degustare questi vini, è un percorso che va ben oltre il gusto per il palato! Complimenti anche a Roberta, guida del percorso di visita alla cantina e che ci ha accompagnati nella degustazione, con spiegazioni interessanti e dettagliate dei vari vini presentati. Vini, tra l'altro, accompagnati da due taglieri molto abbondanti e decisamente gustosi di salumi e formaggi, rigorosamente locali, presentati anche in maniera deliziosa.

Abbiamo partecipato ad un'esperienza degustativa a dir poco eccellente. Roberta, la nostra guida, ci ha messo a nostro agio mentre narrava la bellissima e particolare storia dell'azienda. La degustazione della loro intera produzione è stata accompagnata da un eccellente tagliere di prodotti locali. Graditissimo il saluto offertoci dal titolare Simone, persona cordiale e disponibile. Consiglio vivamente!

Ieri siamo stati in questo bel podere e siamo stati accolti da tutto il personale in modo elegante e professionale. Due taglieri di salumi e formaggi, spettacolari e abbondanti, degustati in compagnia dei vini di loro produzione. Particolare apprezzamento va riconosciuto alla signora Roberta che ci ha fatto degustare i vini e nello stesso momento ce ne raccontava i dettagli, successivamente ci ha accompagnati in visita all'azienda. Grazie per l'ospitalità e l'attenzione che ci avete dato..

Wir kannten den Wein bereits aus unserer Weinhandlung zu Hause und mussten auf Grund der Nähe dem Weingut unbedingt ein Besuch abstatten. Wir hatten uns telefonisch zu einer Weinverkostung mit kurzer Führung angemeldet. Wir wurden mehr als herzlich und mit einer riesigen Platte an Köstlichkeiten empfangen. Obwohl bereits angemerkt wurde, dass nur noch der Hauptwein zur Verfügung stünde, hatte sie für uns noch eine kleine Auswahl aus den eigenen Beständen bereitgestellt. Kombiniert mit der Historie des Weinguts und der Führung über die Anlage, war es ein tolles Erlebnis, abseits von Tourismus, mit dem Blick für die Liebe des Weins.

Questo concetto che si trova sull'etichetta del loro Morellino di Scansano, rispecchia la visita che abbiamo fatto. Siamo stati accolti anche senza prenotazione, da Roberta che ci ha fatto degustare i loro vini e raccontato alcuni aneddoti molto interessanti legati alla territorio e alla famiglia Castelli. Una vera scoperta, il trebbiano 414. Complimenti.

Einen solch herzlichen Empfang und das Gefühl willkommen zu sein, gibt es hier zu 100%🕺🏻
Wenn Sie vorne parken und entweder den Kiesweg um das Haus nehmen(Schild zur Cantina), oder die Autoeinfahrt herumlaufen, kommen Sie an der Theke im freien an. Besser vorher anrufen und kurz mitteilen, wann Sie vorbeikommen wollen. Sie werden so herzlichen empfangen von Frau Simone, oder Herrn Simone persönlich, sowie der freundlichen Mitarbeiterin. Der in Barrique ausgebaute Weißwein ist mit 15€ sensationell, sowie der typische regionale Rotwein Morellino di Scansano, ebenso für 15€. Der günstigste Rotwein liegt bei 9€, der Rosé war leider bereits ausverkauft.
Italienisch und englisch ist die Kommunikationsmöglichkeit.

Vini molto buoni e bella degustazione, consiglio di assaggiare il Morellino e gli altri vini della cantina. Senz'altro fra i migliori in zona.

Tolles Weingut mitten im Nirgendwo der Maremma. Ist schon etwas her, dass wir dort waren, haben damals den 414 Morellino di Scansano entdeckt - sensationeller Wein!

Siamo stati al Podere 414 un venerdì mattina di fine giugno. Nonostante non avessimo chiamato preventivamente siamo stati accolti amichevolmente, con una deliziosa degustazione dei loro vini. Oltre al morelinno hanno infatti diversi altri vini, davvero buoni e speciali.. non vi rovino la sorpresa: andateci!!

Sehr schönes Weingut mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Es waren leider nur noch zwei Weine verfügbar, aber der Ausflug hat sich trotzdem gelohnt. Sie hat uns noch die Weinlagerung und Abfüllung gezeigt und sehr viel zum Weingut und den Weinen erklärt. Ist definitiv einen Ausflug wert.

È una deliziosa cantina posizionata sulle colline incantevoli dell’entroterra della Maremma. Il proprietario Simone ci ha riservato un’accoglienza superlativa e ci ha raccontato la storia della cantina ed i suoi vini con grande passione e competenza. I vini sono tutti ottimi ma per noi il Morellino è il top. Grazie davvero
